Chapter Nine

(Alexis' POV)

           

            The band practice ended, now I need to attend the horse training. I hurriedly went to the stables where I saw three of them waiting for me. I hurriedly walk fast.

 "Alexis why are you late?" Ayaka scoffed when I approach them while attending their horses. "Ah, I need to attend something. Are you waiting for me?"  "Yes, we are almost done. You better get change."

            "Ok." I change for the training attire. Then, I fix MadSpeed saddle and put his noseband. I guide him in the field where they are already in their horses and trotting around the arena. I mount on MadSpeed as I kick his side and he started to walk. "Alexis, why didn't you attend your classes?" I heard her voice then I turned my head to look at her.

            "Alexis, why are you spacing out? Did something happen to you?" "Uhm, no. Meter senpai called us to be substitutes in the band." Ayaka look surprised on what she heard. "Really? Ah, is that so? Then the humors where true that Richito and Tatsui senpais been badly injured." "Then, who is the other one?" "Ritsu senpai."

            "Eh!? Ritsu senpai!? Really!? But I never knew she can play instruments" I look at her with surprised. "You didn't know about that?" "No, she never told us. All I know is that when his brother died she started to play volleyball and tennis."

            "Is that so, I'm surprised to know that." "Then, Alexis you never told me before that you already have a boyfriend." I turned to face Ayaka with her malicious look.

 

(Jiro's POV)

           

            I was listening to the conversation of Ayaka and Alexis when the latter said something.  "Then, Alexis you never told me before that you already have a boyfriend." Yeah, I was eavesdropping them the whole time. Alexis turned to her.

            "What are you talking about?" "Meter senpai also told me, that a handsome guy was with you when you came to school." Ayaka scoffed. Alexis laughs at Ayaka's statement. "He wasn't my boyfriend. He was Ken, one of my closest friend." When I heard that the guy was just her friend, the heavy thing in my heart suddenly lift up. As if I'm happy that their relationship was not that intimate. Hey Jiro, what the hell are you saying? You're going crazy. What happened to the old Jiro!?

            A voice from my head contradicts what I thought. Are you falling for her? Said the voice. Falling? For her? That's impossible, I never like girls. Well, except Meter-nee-chan, Kannon senpai, Ritsu senpai and Ayaka. But others, I don't see them like that. Then, why are you jealous when she was with someone else? I'm not jealous. Who said that? Your other side, stupid. Did you call me stupid? No, you call that to yourself, I'm your other self if you ask. Other self? Is that even possible? Yes and I am that, your other self. Ah, is that so? Then, don't bother me ever again, I don't need you. Haha, your wrong, I'm always with you, you know. And if you ask me, I think you are falling for her this time. What are talking about, I don't like her and I'm not jealous if there is someone she's with. I know it's hard to admit but sooner or later you will even if you don't like it, love will come after you remember that. That's not gonna happen. Then the other voice in my head never speak to me again.

             "Jiro, why are you spacing out?" I heard Yuji's voice and I returned to reality. "Huh? What did you say?" I turned to him. "I said, why are you spacing out? Is there something bothering you?" "Ah, nothing. It's nothing." "I'd like to met him, Alexis!" I continued to listen to them so I tailed them so that I could get near them.
