Miranda was currently in the car with her ex-husband arguing. They had just finalized their divorce and Tuckers car was in the shop. She decided on doing one kind thing, which she now regretted.

"You know Miranda, its all your fault!" he said raising his voice.

"All my fault?" miranda said calmy, " Right, because I obviously cheated multiple times, I lied to my wife some nights saying I had work to do, and I tried to lie about it when my wife finally found out and walked in on us!" she said yelling.

"I cant help you were such a pathetic excuse of a wife!"

"Me? At least Im not a pathetic excuse of a man!"

"Who yo-" before Tucker could finish a truck came flying into the side of their car.

Miranda woke up hanging upside down, she looked to her side to find Tucker making his way out the car. He walked over to Mirandas side trying to pry open the door. Miranda just rolled her eyes and unbuckled her seat belt. Crawling out the same side Tucker did, she looked down to find a metal rod stuck in her abdomen and a huge gash on her leg. Tucker came around holding her arms looking at her injuries.

"Are you okay, Miranda?" he asked.

Miranda just rolled her eyes and moved out of his embrace before she heard screaming from another car. As she looked around she noticed two other cars ended up in the accident. She quickly made her way to the sound coming from the mini van to find a little boy screaming for his mommy and a baby crying. Luckily the she could open the doors, she quickly got the kids out assessing them before helping the mom.

"My name is Miranda Bailey, I am doctor at Grey Sloan Memorial. Can you tell me if anything hurts?"

The lady groaned before answering, " My ribs and my leg. Are- Are my kids okay?"

"Yes, They are. Let me take a quick look.Whats your name, age, tell me about yourself." She wanted to keep her occupied and talking until help got here. Miranda assessed the woman as she rambled about herself and took note that her ribs were probably broken and her leg was in fact injured. A piece of metal had penetrated it deeply. The woman was going to need surgery.

"Cant stop working, huh?" Tucker said from behind her crossing her arms.

She simply ignored him, taking off her jacket pressing it against the wound to slow the bleeding. She soon heard sirens and turned around to find a firetruck pulling up. She watched as the little boy beside her marveled at the firefighters and the baby seemed to have cried herself to sleep. She noticed three firefighters making it towards them.

"Hi, I am Andy, this is Miller and Warren. Can you tell us what happened?"

Tucker stood to the side as Miranda rolled her eyes before speaking, "We were driving through a green light when a truck came and smashed into our side. The kids are fine but I have a 35 year old woman with broken ribs and leg wound thats going to need surgery."

"I think we can make that assessment." Miller said kindly.

"I get that, but I am a doctor at Grey Sloan Memorial. So I would say I'm more than qualified to assess her."

Miller nodded and began to help the woman and put her on a stretcher. Another firefighter cane to help him and got her kids in the ambulance with her.

Miranda groaned grabbing her stomach putting her other hand against the car to steady herself.

"Miranda!" Tucker cane to her side trying to help her stand.

Miranda snatched her arm away, " Tucker Jones, Please get away from."

"Sir, how about you come with me?" Andy said walking him away from her.

"Ma'am-"

"Dr.Bailey, just call me that. I have a metal rod in my abdomen and gash on my leg."

"I can tell, but I can only help you if you stop helping others." Warren said with a slight smile.

Miranda finally looked at the man, He was fine and the firefighter suit wasn't helping. He had beautiful brown eyes and a beaming smile.

"Fine." Miranda let the firefighter guide her to an aid car.

She sat on the stretcher as another female joined them and they made their way the Grey Sloan.

"So Dr. Bailey, Tell me about yourself."

Warren began to assess her wound, first addressing the one on her leg since it wasn't as bad. He then began to examine her abdomen as she stated her important information and gave a run down of what she does. As he was about to cut her shirt he couldn't help but notice her breast that were practically spilling out her top. That was the whole reason she wore the jacket thinking it showed too much cleavage for court. He cut her shirt noticing the rod went through and through but it looked like it missed any major organs, luckily.

"So Dr.Bailey, Where were you heading from?" Vic asked.

"Court, I just finalized my divorce."

"Im sorry to hear that. Why did you guys divorce? I mean if you're comfortable sharing that."

"Don't be, He cheated. He had been cheating for a while but I didn't find out until recently when I walked in on him."

"Seems like it was his loss."

"Thats for damn sure." Warren thought to himself.

"Thanks."

"You are an attractive woman and a surgeon. It'll be no time before you find someone." Vic smiled

Miranda smiled back, thanking her. She wasn't sure if it what Vic said was true, but she was appreciative that Vic believed that.

They soon made it to the hospital as the doctors worked to help the victims.

Warren and his team returned back to the station, where he couldn't help but be intrigued but Dr. Bailey.

"Thinking about Dr.Bailey, huh?" Vic asked as they sat in the kitchen. Andy turned around with a grin, listening in.

"I never said that."

"Oh, please Warren. I saw the way you looked at her. You should go visit her one day, She does work there."

"Yea, Warren. What's the harm?" Andy chuckled.

"Fine, you're right. I will visit her one day." he said walking off as Andy and Vic high five.
