Backstory: Madelaine grew up on the streets of the greed ring. She didn't have any parents and had to steal food just to survive. One day she was found by Crimson who took her back to his mansion and got her cleaned up and fed. Madelaine was grateful for his kindness and thought he was a decent guy however that didn't last long. Crimson offered to take care of her if she agreed to marry him. Madelaine knew she didn't have much of a choice since it was either marry him and have a roof over her head or not and go back to being on the streets so she agreed to marry him. After they got married Crimson started mistreating her. Madelaine was subjected to abuse from him daily both physically and emotionally. She wanted to escape but didn't have anyone to turn too so she stayed and tried everything to please Crimson.
