Backstory: Madelaine is the biological daughter of the greek goddess Hecate. after she was born Madelaine was snatched away and brought down to earth. It was there she was found by Diana and Edward Spellman who took her in as their own. After they died she as well as her sister Sabrina were sent to Greendale to live with their aunts Hilda and Zelda. the two women were surprised when they found out Edward and Diana had adopted a child but nevertheless they raised Madelaine as their own niece. Years went back and Madelaine's powers started to manifest as she could communicate with the dead, summon things, enchant objects and many more. She was enrolled at The Academy of Unseen Arts where she excelled. Madelaine did attend Baxter High with her sister and got along with the others. One day though Madelaine discovered the truth about being adoptive. Hilda and Zelda told her how she had been found by Edward and Diana but they didn't know who her real mother was. Madelaine started trying to find out but struggled to find any clues to who it could be. the family asked every known witch around and that's when they discovered that Madelaine was the child of Hecate.
