The valley of Rivendell was not known for its fighting but with the return of Lord Glorfindel training became more realistic, as the opponents were bound to fight back unlike training dummies, so the Wardens of Lothlórien often came for several weeks. The last four to enter the training arena were blond haired siblings, 3 boys and 1 girl, all choosing to sit together. Most of the Lothlórien trainees talked about the one on one training with Lord Glorfindel, often being separated from the Rivendell training. So when the triplets of Elrond, 2 boys and 1 girl, came out and began sparring with swords and knives. Metal clashed hard. Swords and knives interlocked in a focused training session. Lord Glorfindel stood watching the three battle with little interference. The eldest, Elladan, fought hard putting his weight behind each strike. The youngest, Lomenia, fought tactically and quickly taking out her brothers one at a time. Turning to face the trainees Lomenia ended up standing apart from her siblings, it becoming obvious that she stood smaller than everyone else, her face looking serious and focused.

"Training will be split into weapon types. Archery will be done with Elladan, Swords will be done with Elrohir and knives will be done with Lomenia. I will be moving in between all" Glorfindel says formally "Please form yourselves into those groups"
"Lord Glorfindel what if you don't have a preference or maybe just don't know what it is?" A young male asks
"If you don't currently have a preference form another group. We'll move you around all three so you can hopefully figure that out" Glorfindel says

Everyone sorted into those groups. They were roughly even groups. Those with no preference were split by Glorfindel into the three groups adding them to the list. All of it was intense, both Elrohir and Lomenia going for mini practice fights, rotating the ones with no preference every 15 minutes or so. It was during the last switch that Lomenia noticed the blond haired female approaching her heart leapt into a feeling she could not explain to herself let alone anyone else. Once again Lomenia split the group into pairs correcting technique slightly if someone was way off

"This is too easy. I could beat you" Sylas, a young ellon, snaps after the last round of fights
"Then you can fight me if you think it's that easy" Lomenia says evenly, not going to lower to his level

Sylas went for her immediately but ended up disarmed and on the floor in seconds causing the group to chuckle

"Sorry. Where are my manners? I'm Lomenia and you are?" Lomenia says to the blond haired woman, as she was closest to her
"Halith. It's nice to meet you, My Lady" Halith says
"Please call me Lomenia" Lomenia says pleasantly

Lomenia went through the same thing for the entire group of Lothlórien recruits, especially those who were new to the group, occasionally interrupted by Sylas' attacks which always ended up with him on the floor. Glorfindel chuckled slightly as he approached the group, watching the fight unfold. At his last attack Lomenia wrapped her arms across his neck, knives dangerously close to his throat.

"Yield" Lomenia says lowly
"I yield" Sylas says

Lomenia drops her knives slowly so she wouldn't cut him. Sylas looks up at Lomenia, a confused look on his face, evidently not expecting the scene that had unfolded but knowing that it could've been worse.

"I'm sorry, My Lady. I-"
"Do not worry about it. It is training. You just need to focus more and work on your balance" Lomenia says constructively
"She's right. We're taking a break now but we'll work on that during your time here" Glorfindel says addressing both Sylas and everyone else at the same time
