"I see, and yes I know the event... it was consensual and she was taught something...sometimes teaching may seem wrong but is actually a good thing... and maybe sometimes people need to open their minds to the concept" Onceler continued.

"Fair enough, you two are tricky though... but deep down I believe... well" Claire began...

"You do not need to say it... I do... I fought it at first and it tormented me but yes I do...I just...express things...differently", Onceler said while looking at her cautiously.

"I can agree, so is this where all the commands are made, people fired and such... where the big bad capitalist makes the magic happen?", Claire stated trying to change the subject.

"Yes, all here, fired plenty sadly ...before Iris a lot of people thought they were here to mooch off me and not work...well not the case, but yes this room and desk has seen it all..." Onceler grinned.

"I can imagine, I remember the job ads and figured honestly you were a straight up asshole to work for", Claire giggled.

"Yea... most people do (Onceler snickers)...but I rule with an iron fist as needed..you got to when your someone like me, it is harder to find genuine people the higher you rise to the top...it is something I rarely admit but I will to you", Onceler slowly said and dropped his head slightly.

"Yes, Iris has told me, and the women in the magazines...bulllshit...and for that I am sorry ..I can only imagine.. ", Claire sympathized.

"Well I hate to cut this short but I got a meeting to go to, perhaps we can all go out sometime, I know all the best places in town and can get seats anywhere I want, just you and Clive say the word and it is done Claire", Onceler shifted his eyes up with a warm look.

"Well thank you and yes, Clive would enjoy that, I know you two spent a lot of time together and I do not want to disrupt that entirely", Claire suggested.

"The same with you and Iris, I do not want to disrupt that entirely either and never will", Onceler said and smiled.

Claire got up from the chair and thanked him for the meeting and saw her way out. Onceler said on the side of the desk and watched her leave. Eyeballing her, he had to stop his mind from going to other realms.

"Cute, nice ass buttt... she's sweet but she's no Iris... could use some lessons though", he snickered to himself.

He then sat down and slumped in his chair. He let out a sigh of relief. Flustering thoughts came out of his mind. He felt so foolish, why...why go to such great lengths for someone he barely knew. Normally he would not care either way and not bother. A warm smirk came over his face, he knew why.

"You ...I swear you may be the fucking end of me Iris", he said aloud and lit up another cigar.

The cool late September day was so appealing to be out in. Iris walked up to the mansion and enjoyed the breeze and the shifting of color on the trees. Some barren, some with leaves, either way she enjoyed this time of year the most over anything. She could also hear the creak of the branches as they swayed in the wind.

In the living room she began to watch with Onceler. Casually they joked and drank as the movies continued. Sharing a bowl of Dots candy, Iris eyeballed the last lime gumdrop.

"No...I call dibs", Onceler said.

"Noooooo I do", Iris smirked.

She teases and took the candy and ate it and grinned. Onceler smirked back and played along.
