For a while —
The clouds blurred their form,
Trees stood still, their dance outworn.
Birds held silence, their songs withdrawn,
Airplanes muted, their roar was gone.
No longer did the wind caresse me,
For a while, I dwelled where shadows thrill,
In whisper of silence, where time stood still.
