I sit here jn silence
Watching all the trees go speeding by
The car going faster and faster

I look forward and she my parents
My mom driving and laughing
My dad joking around
He turns around and looks at me
My face lightens up

I look back on my life
I look back to see
To see where everything went right
Where everything brought me to this exact moment in time

And I realize this is the only time I really felt at home.
