Hey, I'm slowly getting back into writing after years of writers block so here's some random drabbles and one-shots.
updates will probably not be very frequent as I am a college student.

This is the original prompt, here's what I wrote in response:
"I'm a failure..." He mumbled bitterly, blinking back tears. "Do you really want to stand beside me?"
He looked away from her, hands tightly clasping the balcony railing in front of them. He was ashamed; being the kid with the lowest scores in school while having no friends was the worst.. he would immediately kill all her popularity in this hellscape of a high school, why would she want to partner up with him of all people. The feeling of her touching his arm startled him, making him look over.
She linked their arms, a bright smile on her face as she gently shook her head a little. "I've been scorned my whole life," She said gently to him, her voice soothing his wounds somehow. "I think I can take the heat."
He couldn't help but smile a little himself. She made him feel like maybe things would be alright after all... hopefully.
Taking a deep breath, he nodded a little. "Okay... let's do it."
