Everything was good recently! She and Spencer had talked through everything. They were deciding how they wanted their relationship to be. Is this just friends or is it something more. That's what they had been figuring out for the past week. Spencer sadly had to go to work before they could truly get to the bottom of it. However, she was okay with that. She took a break from the thoughts in her head when someone knocked on her front door.

She looked at the door with narrow eyes, willing it to be Spencer on the other side. So, when she ran to the door and twisted the handle open. She was surprised and equally happy when she figured out who was behind her door. There stood a tall man with piercings and black shaggy hair. He also had a black tattoo on the side of his neck that seemed to travel down his clavicle and down his partially exposed chest,

"Evan! What are you doing here? I thought you weren't supposed to come around until next week!" She exclaimed happily as she gave her brother a hug. He hugged her back just as tightly.

"Well my agent apparently wrote the wrong dates so my tour in dc is in another week and I didn't have a tour this week so I decided to come say hi earlier!" Evan was always a sincere man. Especially for Abagail. She was afraid of everything as a kid and Evan always helped her through it. She remembers clearly the day Evan found out she had been getting bullied by his football friends.

"Well if it isn't smartie two-shoes over here." Jason said as he walked up towards Abagail. He had short blond hair that perked up. Abagail just went to get her chemistry books from her locker. "So you're graduating this year right? I guess that's why you don't have any friends."

"I have friends Jason," she mumbled.

"What was that, I didn't hear what you said." He mocked her all the time and this was nothing she hasn't experienced before. "So, does Mrs. Loser have anyone to go to prom with? Because I know you can't just go with your brother."

"Why do you even care about it, Jason," she shut her locker before looking at him.

"I'm just pointing out that no man will ever love you. Because you're so hopelessly stupid and ugly. I mean Evan asked someone on the football team what they thought about you and my buddy gagged," he was close to her right now. Using his height and muscle advantage against her, she was small and unhealthily skinny.

"At least I gagged more when I thought of you." She retaliated and he rolled his eyes.

"Whatever you say Abs" she winced at the use of her nickname.

"Don't call me that." She frowned as she spoke.

"What are you gonna do about it Abs?" He got closer to her. His face In hers. "What are you gonna do?" He boxed her in against her locker and she felt her heart drop. Adrenaline filling her head.

"Get away Jason" she tried to remain calm but she was definitely afraid. Jason didn't even try to move away. He in fact, moved closer.

"Jason! Where were youâ€"" the sound of Evan's voice caused relaxation to spread through her body. He had seen Jason pinning his sister against a locker.

"Hey buddy, how are you manâ€"" then next thing she knew Jason was on the floor, the sound of Evan's fist colliding with Jason's jaw echoed through the hallway. Evan tackled him and grabbed the hem of his shirt. Staring daggers into his eyes.

"Don't ever touch my sister again or I will break you in half. Do you understand me?" Terrified was the only emotion she could express. When he let go of Jason he stood up and looked back at her. A sympathetic look on his face.

"You okay Abs?"

~~~
"You okay Abs?" Evan asked and she looked towards him once more.
