Head Over Heels || Steve Harrington

"Get it?" Steve asked with a chuckle. You felt your heart swoon over the sound of his laugh. His laugh was melodic to your ears and made you melt with how sweet and gentle his laugh was. You tilted your head up to look at him with a smile. You could feel his body vibrate from under you as he laughed. You couldn't help but laugh at the fact that even though his joke wasn't that funny, he found it funny enough to make himself laugh, which made you laugh along with him. "You're such a dork." You said with a chuckle as you nuzzled up against him closer, burrowing your face closer and deeper just at the crook of his neck.

The two of you were currently in Steve's car all cuddled up together. It was a quiet and pleasant summer night, and Steve had asked you to go on a mini road trip date. After driving around all afternoon and evening, the two of you found a perfect secluded spot for Steve to park for the two of you to enjoy the night.

Steve had extended and moved his seat back to be able to make space for you to sit on top of him while he sat in the drivers seat. Surely enough he was able to move his seat to make room for you to sit and sort of lay on top of him.

You were able to position yourself so that your legs were extended out with his, but you sat and turned your body to be able to sit on his lap and nuzzle yourself against his chest and the crook of his neck. Steve was able to place his head above yours while his arms wrapped were around you.

It was a perfect and comfortable position given that you both were in Steve's car while it stayed on so that you both could listen to the radio. The two of you just took place in that cuddling position and enjoyed each other's presence and company.

The moment felt like time had slowed down. Being alone together in Steve's car with the radio playing silently in the background while you both silently talked to each other about anything and everything felt just right.

There was a quick and sudden silent moment between you two. Steve continued to slowly caress your own left arm with his left hand while you caressed his right hand with your own right hand when suddenly, the radio station began to play a new song.

Once you heard the beginning of the song, you quickly gasped and smiled. "I love this song." You said as you intertwined your fingers with his, grabbing his hand to hold on to.

"I wanted to be with you alone." You sang as you closed your eyes and felt your body melt within Steve's chest as you felt the warmth of having him hold you. "And talk about the weather." You continued to sing with a smile.

You released a small sigh as you shifted from singing to humming the song being played. You felt Steve's soft fingers from his other hand glide up and down your arm as his thumb caressed your skin, making small swirly patterns that made you feel safe and at peace.

"I'm lost in admiration, could I need you this much?" You heard Steve whisper as he as well sang along to the infamous tune.

You couldn't help but feel a buzz of excitement and joy as Steve's whispers to singing along the song rang through your ears.

"Oh, you're wasting my time, You're just, just, just wasting time" you both sang along, nuzzling yourself even closer to Steve.

You couldn't help but to look up at Steve as he began to hum the tune. When you looked up at him, you noticed how he looked down at you. You felt your smile widen when you locked eyes with him. You could tell Steve was thinking about something when he was looking at you. His face told you his was deep in his thoughts when he stopped humming and just softly stared at you in admiration.

"What?" You asked as you shifted your gaze from his eyes to his beautiful soft lips with a smile. You noticed his eyes twinkle as he smiled back at you. It took him a brief second for him to respond to you. You could tell he got lost in your eyes before he replied to you. "Nothing." He said softly as he slowly continued to graze his fingers up and down your arm. You gave him a small nudge. "No, not nothing. What's wrong?" You asked.
