Story Two.

    The soft, gentle winds blow across the full and lush fields of sunflowers. All were tall and golden, all except one. This one was short and a vibrant hue of cobalt. The others laughed and scorned him. They were all the same.

    "Why so blue, smurf?" They'd laugh as he drooped down sadly.

  Then harvest time came, and the fields were abuzz. The little blue sunflower was scorned and teased even more.

   As people chose their flower, the sunflowers were neglected. Then, a little girl, short and sweet, came to the sunflowers and studied them.

   She looked at the blue sunflower, and with a hand as soft as a summer breeze, she chose the blue sunflower.

The others were shocked. They couldn't believe that the smurf was chosen over their tall golden loveliness.

He always said that "Good things come to those are kind."

  The blue sunflowers had humbled the others. He had left his mark on that field.

   It showed, too, because from that day forth. That field held kindness and love.
