Part 10 : Soon-to-be-family

Yeonjun didn't expect that the preparations will start this soon. The hall was filled with the scent of roses, jasmines, lilies ,daffodils and Tulips they were used for decorations and what surprised him the most was that all the flowers were real.

He wanted to ask someone about this, soon he saw Maria coming towards his direction " Excuse Me?" He said
" Yes, Young Master. Do you need something?" She asked " No, I just wanted to know that these flowers you are using are they real?" Maria Nodded her head with a small smile

" But they will wither in few days then what's the use of them?" He asked
" Young Master, this kingdom has special type of flowers. Yeah, we have normal flowers but some flowers are used for special weddings like these flowers, they will not wither till the marriage is done even if it's after a year" She explained making Yeonjun gasp

" Woah, I have never seen such flowers" He exclaimed making Maria chuckle " Ofcourse, they aren't grown anywhere else except here" Yeonjun nodded understanding whatever she said " Anything else, young master?" Yeonjun shook his head and she bowed before leaving.

" I hope that just like these flowers, our marriage won't wither till the end of our lives" That's what Yeonjun hoped for at that moment. Yeonjun just sighed and left to his room.

Soobin just came from his morning practice and noticed the decorations that were done with clear annoyance in his eyes " Geez. I don't like this drama at all" Soobin said walking towards Maria " Maria?" The other female turned and bow her head

" Yes, Young Master"

" Didn't I told you not to prepare for the marriage?" He asked and Maria got quite for sometime before speaking in a very calm voice " I apologise young master but I was given the order to start the preparations and I couldn't disrespect his highness's order. " Soobin poked his inner cheeks with his tongue before nodding and going to the guest room.

Here, Daehyun and Ryujin were sitting infront of a lady who was wearing a black hanbok

" They both aren't happy with your decision, King Daehyun" She spoke in her honey dripping voice " I know, Mrs. Hong that they both aren't happy with our decision but.. I trust Taejoon and I can clearly see that Yeonjun might change Soobin" Daehyun calmly Added

" I see, you believe Yeonjun alot. But remember Daehyun, this might lead to something very dangerous in the future if they both don't start to love eachother" She proclaimed "I will remember that Mrs.Hong and I hope that Yeonjun and Soobin will start to love eachother. It will surely take sometime for them to start their bonding but I hope that it will happen soon" Mrs.Hong could just nod at whatever Daehyun said.

Ryujin who was listening to all this stood up before leaving somewhere making both Mrs.hong and Daehyun confused.

Yeonjun was sitting in the garden under the same tree when he felt a hand on his shoulder. " Yeonjun" a soft voice spoke making him turn. Ryujin sat besides him " Looks like you really like our garden" She said
" No Queen, I love this garden. I just forget all my worries and pain when I am here. This feels like home for me" He proclaimed

" You know Yeonjun, you are just like me. When I first came here after marriage, I also loved this garden infact this was the first place I loved and spent the most time with. Whenever Daehyun went on wars or outside of the kingdom, i used to come here and sit peacefully" Ryujin said remembering her past days while Yeonjun just listened to her attentively

" Yeonjun, Can you promise me something?" She asked turning towards him " What is that, Queen?" He asked " Promise me, That you will change my son. I know I sound like a selfish mother but.." Ryujin paused and held his hand " I love Soobin more than anyone, I want him to change. You are the only one who can change him , You know Yeonjun as a mother i always took care of soobin, gave him whatever he wanted and always loved him alot but this led to him being like this. I always regret spoiling him so much but now that you are here , I hope that you will change him"

" Queen, I can't promise you this since I am not really liking all this happening but I can just give you a hope that I will change Soobin if I could" Ryujin didn't take any moment to pull him into his embrace. Yeonjun got worried when he felt his shoulder getting wet.

" Q-Queen? You okay?" He asked pulling out of the hug " Yeah , Just tears of Happiness " She said wiping her tears " Thank you son and Don't call me Queen. I am queen for others but for you I am just like your mom so call me Eomma" Yeonjun nodded

" I am blessed to have you as my son-in-law." She said cupping Yeonjun's cheeks who blushed at her words. " Looks like Mother-in-law and Son-in-law are getting together,huh?" They both turned to see Daehyun standing there

" Yeah, Afterall when he will come here as Soobin's husband he will be in my team. Finally someone like me will be with me. You know Yeonjun these father and sons are the same, Workholic ass. I never got anyone on my side but now that you are here, you will be in my team, will you?" Yeonjun chuckled at her words and nodded his head.

" Yeah, Yeah. Have your son-in-law by your side and don't worry the other Son-in-law will also be in your team. I heard that Beomgyu is fond of flowers and colors" Daehyun stated " Yeah, he really love them" Yeonjun agreed with him making Ryujin squeal " Both son-in-law are in my side " She happily danced saying this while the other two males chuckled.

" Come on , let's share a soon-to-be-family hug" Ryujin said and made Yeonjun stand up. Three of them glanced at eachother before sharing a hug.

" The soon-to-be-family "
Ryujin shouted.
