Princess don't need a man to save her

Chapter 4

-"What are you guys we're talking 'bout?" - Judy asked

-"We have met earlier, he wanted to check if it's really me"

-"That's all?"

-"Well, maybe he will be traveling with us"

-"HUH?! YOU WILL KILL HIM! "

-"Depends."

We we're walking around for a while. Judy's mouth wasn't shutting, she kept talking without any break.

-"Wait... What's that guy's name?" - Judy asked in a middle of her talking

-"Jerett"

-"He's not from here. His mother must hate him to name him like that"

-"That's rude, Judy" - I replied

*Evening, around 9 p.m

Judy was cooking dinner meanwhile I was preparing tent to sleep.

-"Dinner's ready!" - She said

-"Coming!"

Then I saw Jerett.

-"Railey?" - Jerett was looking for me

-"Oh! That's the guy you wanted to kill!" - Judy said

-"Judy, please. What are you searching for?"

-"I can join you, if you and.. Judy want" - He said being unsure

-"I'm okay with that, what about you Judy?"

-"If he can cook and handle weird things like magic then sure >:3 ".- Judy said looking at me

-"You scared of magic?" - I asked

-"Why would be I?" - Jerett responded

-"Judy?"

-"Yeah" - Then my dinner started levitating

-"Not my dinner!" - I said

-"Wha- Am I drunk or something, or uhh-"

-"Are you scared or more terrified?" - Judy asked

-"B-both" - Jerett responded

-"Better reaction that you, Railey" - Judy said smiling

-"How I was supposed to react? It's normal for you not me" - I responded eating my dinner

-"Can you do more?" - Jerett said shocked

-"I mean I can turn into animals, talk to them and uh .... I can do more but I kinda forgot it because I don't use them"

-"I heard some stories when I was younger about some magicians and all of those legends but I didn't thought they we're real" - He'd respond

Then I saw Judy building another tent for Jerett. I finished my dinner so I helped Judy. Jerett started cleaning dishes after us.

-"You got your things?" - Judy asked Jerett

-"Yeah, they're in my backpack"

*Almost midnight

-"Goodnight!" - Judy said

-"Sweet dreams" - I did respond

Then Judy walked in the tent with a smile on her face and those cheeks when she first saw me. Jerett was still sitting with me. The silence was getting more uncomfortable and embarrassing.

-"I- uh.. nevermind" - I said

-"Huh? Oh" - Then Jerett continued - "Why did you choose traveling?"

-"To be free, it's better for my mental health"

-" I like to work even if it's really hard "

-" How many jobs do you have? I already know two of them"

-"Eight. Eight jobs" - He said giggling. The problem is I can't tell if he's smiling or not because of his mask.

-"Eight?! How are you still alive?! - I said shocked

-"I don't know, I'm just used to it" - He did respond lying down -" I think Judy doesn't like me"

-"You're wrong."

-"Why?"

-"After seeing us last time for today she was walking into tent excited"

-" Judy joined you, right?" - he asked

-"Yeah. After she showed her magic powers I couldn't say no"

-"Aren't you tired?"

-"Kinda but I still can talk"

-"Better go to sleep, sleep is important "

-"Only if you go to sleep, I don't want you to sit here alone"

-"I will"

-"Then sleep well Jerett" - I said smiling to him

-"Goodnight" - He did respond having red cheeks - that's the thing I can see even when he has his mask on.
