Buck and Eddie say to Chris as he leaves for his school trip. After Chris waved them goodbye, Buck looks worried. Eddie notices. "What's wrong?" He asks. Buck looks down at the pavement.
"Aren't you worried?" He says while looking up at Eddie. "Not anymore" he says. Eddie smiles at him. "Buck, he's gonna be fine" he says and puts his hand on Buck's shoulder.
[Eddie's house 18:00]
"What do you wanna do? Wanna watch that movie you've been talking about" Eddie says. Buck looks at him confused. "You remember?". "Ofcourse I do" he says smiling.
Suddenly Buck feels this wierd feeling in his stomach. Not the in love butterfly thing, well.. not entirely? More like the gut wrenching kind. His parents never listened to him when he was exited about anything, and Maddie was busy with life. The 118 listens but they don't remember. Which is okay, because they try.
"What was the name again? Die hard right? Because Chimney kept talking about it." Buck smiles. "Yeah" he says in his cute Buck voice way. "Alright then" Eddie says and they sit down on the couch. Eddie doesn't really wanna watch Die Hard. He's seen it a dozen times and got bored of it.
But Buck wants to watch it with him, so he will. Half an hour into the movie it starts to storm outside. They don't seem to mind, it's kinda cozier when it's storming. A few minutes later it starts thundering. Buck looks outside worried.
Eddie scooches over to him. "Buck are you okay?" He asks worried. Buck's still looking out the window. "Uh- yeah yeah I'm fine." "Buck you know you don't have to pretend with me. You were struck by lightning, you died. This is PTSD and it's normal." But Buck still doesn't wanna look at him.
Eddie notices his breathing becoming shallow. "Buck" he says getting up and sitting down in front of him. "Breathe" he says while looking him in the eye. Buck wipes the tear running down his cheek. He tries to breathe. Eddie gets up. "I'm gonna get you some water." "Eds don't leave" Buck says regretting it immediately.
Eddie turns around. "Okay" he says. He sits down next to him. "Get up" he says. Buck looks at him confused. "Look you know I'm not the touchy feely type but I'm gonna hug you."
Buck gets up. Eddie spreads out his arms. "Come on you idiot" he says. Buck hugs him. The hug lasted for what felt like a lifetime. But not in a bad way. "Thanks" Buck says while pulling away. "Anytime" Eddie says.
