As Demi buttoned up her shirt, a knock sounded at the door. I peaked it open a crack, keeping my body in the space so my office stayed confidential.

"Ma'am, Paul Levesque, the WWE producer and executive, has agreed to a video conference with you. His only availability is at 3:30, however. 20 minutes from now. Otherwise, he's booked out for 3 weeks." I shut my eyes, rest my head against the door, and sigh.

"That'll do. Confirm the time and ensure the connection is working." My assistant nodded, scurrying off to do as I said. I shut my door again, turning back to Demi.

"WWE? Paul Levesque? My job?" She was confused, unsure if what's happening.

"They sent in a request for the company to sponsor the next season. The last sponsor had to pull out due to internal reasons. We're simply discussing further details." She nodded, relaxing again. She fixed her hair, running her fingers through it again. I walk over, kissing her gently. "I wouldn't do anything to jeprodise your career."

"I know. I'm just scared." I nod, kissing her forehead. I walk to my computer, pulling up the connection so I'm set, waiting for it to start. I reach up on my shelf, pulling down a light bourbon, pouring 2 glasses. 2 knuckles of the liquor in each. I put the decanter back and held up the 2nd glass, offering it to Demi. She walked over, taking it gently. She smiled up at me as she took a sip, face contorting at the taste. I laughed a little.

"Is it strong?" Demi nodded but took another small sip.

"I'm not used to it. It's good, though." I smile and lean down, kissing her. She went up on her tiptoes, pressing her chest to my own. I hear a throat clear and pull away. I look towards my computer, seeing Paul waiting, smirking slightly.

"Hello, Mr. Levesque."

"Hello, Ms. Anderson. I see you've met some of my talent already. Good afternoon, Ripley." Demi nodded, face red. She hid her face in my neck, glass held to the side.

"Come on, love. I gotta sit down." She shakes her head, not wanting to leave my side. I laughed and moved to my chair, kicking it so it was pulled back and turned towards me. I sat down, pulling Demi closer. I slip my arm under her knees and support her back as I pull her so she's sitting on my lap. She blushed a deeper red, giggling softly. She was embarrassed. I pressed a soft kiss to her temple as I flipped open my file.

"Alright, so you said you wanted to discuss some details with me? I made certain we had included financial reports and recommendation letters. I ran all our numbers and made a thorough list of what all the sponsor money would go to, how it would divide, and anything that could possibly happen that might cause a need for extra funds. We're asking for a flat out of $60,000."

"I did see all that information, yes. What I didn't see was a mention of medical staff, let alone making sure all medical equipment is up to code and still in date." Paul seemed to be surprised.

"I was informed that we didn't need to be updating medical equipment. And as for medical staff, we normally just get volunteers to do it."

"Do they have any kind of training to be providing medical treatment?"

"I'm not certain. I don't believe so." I sighed, rubbing my temples. Demi curled her body closer to me.

"Before my company agrees to sponsor you, I will personally come down and comb every inch of your business. A lot of things need to be fixed before you air again, apparently. So, I recommend that you take at least 2 months off. Give everyone a break while you and I work through this and make sure your business is stable."

"I think that's a spectacular idea. I'll go ahead and send out an email to everyone."

"You and I are rehiring some staff for you guys. I need a full list of every employee and what their job is and entails. I'll be there in 2 days' time." Paul nodded. "I will email you the number for my work phone, the one I carry, so that you can get ahold of me. As for now, I'm still indecisive. I'm sure once everything is sorted, we'd be more than happy sponsoring you." Paul nodded, then his eyes drifted behind his screen where a knock sounded.
