"Vincent, you need to start moving."

" Well," he thought for a while, " I think I'm gonna let you suffer like that for a little," I whined in a silent whimper as my legs started to give out.

A few hours earlier.

We decided to get some air over ten past midnight. We came out of the pub. The air was too crisp to be out in this ungodly hour, but I wanted out of that place. I'm not sure why. We were walking next to each other. My hands were across my chest as I walked, his hands were freely swinging on either side.

All of a sudden, we heard smooching noises. We turned towards the object of sound, to witness two dogs humping each other passionately.

The dogs were involved in vigorous and intense sex.

I let out an amused scoff. Disbelief splayed across my face. The female dog was giving her mate a comfortable position for him to fuck her. Vincent laughed witnessing that, his breath knocked out, as he coughed. He continued laughing though.

Seriously, Get a room, guys!!

When did you start talking sassily? My conscience questioned.
My conscience shocked, Chloe rocked.

I was mesmerized when I looked at him, his beautiful face borne with a wide smile. I looked a couple of seconds longer before I realized he was pointing somewhere and he doubled over. I looked over to where he was pointing, and I snorted.

My snorts turned into a burst of full-blown laughter, I was shocked to hear the foreign sound in my ears. The dogs were humping each other and the other dog I think, is a little older, is barking at them, try to peel them off, but even after restrictions, they get back together.

As he calmed down I asked him " Why were you laughing?" the laughter aftermath was still on my face.

" I don't know, I saw them and got reminded about my first relationship." his voice slurred a little, as he started walking again. I snorted.

Who gets reminded of their relationship by watching dogs humping each other.

His head snapped to me abruptly. He kind of zoned out looking at me. He opened his mouth to, but decided otherwise. I sighed in relief. I didn't want to witness an offended man defending his ex-girlfriend.

Was I rude? I don't think so... right?

I took that as my cue and walked along. The bubble we were filled with a few minutes ago busted.

" You seem dull?" I didn't know how else to ask him. I'm pretty drunk to be hearing any emotional story, sober me would die, rather than involve herself in any emotional situation.

He was silent for a few moments before he muttered " She broke up with me last week."

I didn't reply to anything. I don't know anything about love or relationships to tell him something. I didn't essentially believe in happily ever after. The crazy love, where we are head over heels with each other, and that goes along forever. The same passion, commitment, love. I don't believe in that.

Being loyal and showering love to a person is like needing an umbrella in the rain. You enjoy the rain, yet you can't withstand standing under it. We need an umbrella. And soon after the rain is over, we don't want the umbrella that protected us through the difficult storm. We don't care where we threw it until the next rain.

"And today I found that, she had been cheating on me for so long, that she got bored of acting with me."

" That's terrible, " He looked like he was about to cry so I quickly came up with an idea.
