In distant lands, my heart does roam,
Away from family, I feel alone.
Their laughter echoes in my mind,
Their love, a beacon, gentle and kind.
Through nights of longing, tears do fall,
Their absence aches, a silent call.
But in my dreams, we reunite,
Embraced by love, bathed in light.
Though miles apart, our bond holds true,
In every thought, I'm home with you.
Until the day we meet again,
My heart with family, forever remains.
