"Zu! Canteen mamaya?" Yaya ko sakanya, magkatabi lang ang desk namin sa klase. Kaya madaling makipag-communicate, at mag kopyahan rin.
Zu is a nickname I made for Yuzuha. She asked me to give her a nickname only I could call her, and I did.
"Yoko." She stuck her tongue at me and continued writing down notes. I threw a glare at her and she chuckled softly. "Edi wag. Bahala ka jan." Saad ko sa tono na parang nagtatampo.
"Joke lang. 'To naman 'di mabiro." Agad nyang sabi. Diko parin pinapansin. Bahala talaga sya!
"Nyxia! Masyadong matampuhin naman, di bagay sa'yo." Biro nya ule. Ay talaga Yuzuha. Di ako natutuwa sayo!
Dedma parin ako sa mga sinasabi nya.
"Oo na, libre na kita at sabay tayong mag canteen. Happy?" Agad akong lumingon sakanya. My eyes lit up and my lips curved into a smile. "Totoo? 'Di mo'ko i s-scam gaya last time?"
"Hindi. Promise." Ngiti nya sakin. I threw her a frown. "You know I only believe in pinky promises." I pouted. She cupped my face and I was taken aback by that action.
"Ang cute mo, Nyx!" Panggigigil ni Zu sa'kin. My face was heating up, so I quickly removed her hands on my cheeks. "Yeah, whatever." Inirapan ko to at tumawa ulit sya sakin.
"Okay, I pinky promise." She let out her pinky finger, waiting for mine to interlock with hers. "Pinky promise!" I smiled, letting out my pinky finger aswell.
Our fingers interlocked, and we both smiled at each other.
"Miss Shiba! Miss Sanae!" Our teacher, suddenly yelled. I jumped at her raising her voice and subconsciously went back to writing notes. Zu did the same.
"Class, focus sa klase." She reminded everyone. We all just nodded and the lesson continued.
"Panira ng moment." Zu whispered to me, I threw a small smile and nodded at her. We both chuckled lightly.

Tapos na ang period ni Ma'am. Me and Zu are currently walking to the cafeteria as she promised me. Correction, pinky promise!
"I'm getting trust issues, what if hindi mo pala ako ililibre?" Tingin ko kay Zu.
"Nyx, In our whole entire friendship did I ever break a promise? Especially a pinky promise?" Seryosong tanong ni Zu. She looked serious, she's never serious! Only when random dudes are trying to hit me up though.
Napaisip ako sa tanong ni Zu. Totoo nga, sa ilang taong pagsasama namin ni Zu ay ni walang promise or pinky promise syang sinira.
"Oh yeah, wala.." I shyly answered.
"Exactly." Zu smiled at me. "I would never do that Nyx. You know that." She put a assuring hand on my shoulder. She always knew that would calm me down. I mean, Si Zu nayan eh. She knows how to handle me, she knows what words to say exactly when I need it.
That's why she's such a good friend.
"Lika na, libre kita." Turo nya saakin sa menu ng mga pagkain. "Ano gusto mo jan? Pili ka kahit ano." She said, looking at her wallet with a troubled face.
"Zu? What's wrong?" I asked worriedly. Parang nagulat si Zu nung pinoint-out ko yun. She plastered a smile at me. "Huh? Wala! Nyx, hindi muna ako kakain ngayon, ikaw na muna." She told me, the minute those words came out of her mouth I completely disagreed.
"Zu? Bakit naman? Kanina kapa gutom ah?"
"Ah, nawala na. It's okay! Ikaw muna. Kakain nalang ako pag uwi." She threw a reassuring smile at me. "Zu, nagpalipas kang gutom." Seryosong kong tingin sakanya.
"I'm fine Nyx. Tsaka hindi naman ako mamatay. Oa ka?" Biro nya. Ngunit di ako natuwa. "Oa na kung oa. I'm just making sure na kumain ka."
"Nyx, I'm fine nga."
"No. Hindi ako mag oorder not until mag order karin!" I said in a petty tone.
"Nyxia you are so petty." She sighed.
"Ooh, I have an idea. Share nalang tayo!" I suggested. Zu sighed. She knew that there was no way she could disagree with me since, ako na'to eh.
"Fine." She rolled her eyes and I smiled. "Yay!"

"Nyxia," A random guy approached us while we were eating.
"Huh?" I looked up to him.
"May nagpapaabot, flowers and chocolate. Galing sa kabilang section nyo daw." He said coldly, and soon left, leaving the flowers and chocolate on the cafeteria table.
"Ahh." Saad ni Yuzuha.
