Thankfully, Poe was just on time, everyone, including ranpo, had actually showed up. As Kunikida had explained tomorrow (which is now today) will be extremely important for our grades, everyone who wasn't in was alerted by their friends leaving them all here.
The boy eventually found his seat... It was near to Ranpo but he couldn't bother watching his rival for the only day he practically came in.
Suddenly, a loud bang came out of nowhere. The door swinged open revealing Kunikida and a new teacher, who was it? Taking a closer look it was a brunette hair and quite pale skin... However looking at it again, he wasn't as pale as Poe, at this rate nobody was.
"Hellooooooo class!!!!" His voice was quite loud, and energetic yet hoarse.
"Be quiet Dazai. It's only 9:15AM," Kunikida was clearly not in the mood... As always.
"Sorry Mr. Grumpy pants~!" Viewing the other teachers expression, he was clearly holding back. Until they started an argument over the most idiotic things... Everyone was clearly enjoying this, After 20 minutes had passed they finally stopped
"After being rudely interrupted, I was going to say we will be having a group project."
The area was silent for a moment until tons of groans were heard, everyone knew they couldn't choose who they partnered with... Due to Kunikidas strictness.
Until one of the students asked with a hint of curiosity, " What's the project about? " This student had white hair with horrendous bangs... Nobody had commented about that though,
"Well!!! I'm glad you asked we will be-" before Dazai could say anything stupid Kunikida cut him off and replied
"We will be making any type of genre book."
Although Poes eyes were covered from his dark purple (or brunette) his eyes were totally shining, writing books was one of his favourite things... However it was only mystery and horror genres he was good at, he was hoping the random partner would actually be fine with those topics...
"And, I'll be choosing the pairs!" Dazai said with gleeful smile.. It seemed like he had a weird plan,
It took around 5 minutes until he finally said whose Poes partner is for the project, he was actually praying he could be alone due to an uneven amount in the class... Yet his hope got him nowhere before the teacher says,
"Hm... Let's see! How about Ranpo and Poe?~"
Ranpo fell silent... For once. And immediately a confused look came on his face, before asking a question
"Who is Poe again?"
No way! His own rival didn't even know who he was? This clearly enraged Poe but stayed silent, he didn't know what he felt once he said that... He fell even paler.
But then the taller boy whispered weakly, "Ah... Uh... T-that's me,"
The shorter boy immediately glared at Poe, seeming to be silently judging him, Poe could feel the glare and immediately looked away with a slightly red face. Clearly embarrassed about this entire situation,
Ranpo muttered something extremely quietly under his breath, and sadly Poe couldn't hear him or whatever he muttered
