A few days later
She was sitting on the couch, relaxing and working on her laptop. When her phone rang, she swiftly picked up her phone and read the caller id and she saw it was her bestie, Stella, calling, so she answered.
On the call:
Stella: "Hey bestie, get dressed! I'm coming to take you somewhere."
Iris replied, "Okay, but why so sudden?"
Stella: "Just get ready and wear that beautiful red dress, okay? And put on some makeup."
"Okay, see you soon, I guess. ," Iris said, ending the call. She got up from the couch and started getting ready, wondering where Stella was taking her.
Stella showed up half an hour late, and then they left together in the car.
In the car:
Iris: "Where are we headed?"
Stella: "You'll find out soon."
Iris: "Come on, tell me."
Stella: "Sorry, I can't."
Iris: "Fine." Iris pouted and looked out the window.
Stella: "Sorry~"
Iris: "Whatever."
After ten minutes, they reached the beach.
Iris: "Why are we at the beach?"
Stella: "You'll see. Don't worry. By the way, put on this blindfold."
Iris: "Why?"
Stella: "It's a surprise. Come on!"
Iris: "Okay."
(With the blindfold on, Stella leads Iris to a spot.)
Stella: "You can take off the blindfold now."
(Iris removes the blindfold and only to see Ivan on one knee holding a ring.)
Ivan: *With trembling hands* "Iris Authur, my soulmate, the light of my life, will you honor me by becoming my wife?"
Iris: "Yes, yes, a hundred times yes!" (She hugs Ivan tightly, tears of joy streaming down her cheeks.)
Stella, Ivan's parents, and Iris's mom, who were watching from afar, smiled.
After a long time apart, they were finally together again, as if it was there destiny
Soon after, Ivan asked Iris to marry him. They started planning their wedding because they didn't want anything to come between them anymore.
One chilly day,
Iris's car broke down, so she had to walk down an alley to get to Ivan's office, which was nearby.
As she countinued to walk, she felt like someone was following her. Feelings Scared, she turned around, but didn't see anyone.
Ignoring her thoughts, she kept walking. Suddenly, a hand covered her mouth tightly. Iris turned around and saw a masked man. She tried to fight him off, but he was too strong. As they struggled, the man pulled out a knife and stabbed her in the lower stomach.
Iris fell to the ground in pain. The man was about to stab her again when police sirens were heard. He dropped the knife and whispered in Iris's ear, "You're lucky, sweetheart. Don't worry, this isn't the end!"
With that, he got up and ran away, leaving Iris bleeding on the ground. She tried to scream for help, but no one came. After some time, she passed out.
Soon after two figures where walking through the smae alley when they saw Iris lying on the floor they quickly dialled 911 and rushed her to the hospital
