When my sister flatlined and the dr.'s brought her back
When my mom was diagnosed with cancer
I kept living though sometimes I didn't want to
I chose to live because people cared about me
That was then, this is now
I choose to live because I matter to to people again
I chose to live and now I make others want to live
You matter to me and I will always care about you
