It was August 26th 2024 at 3:00 p.m. when I was walking back from the gas station and I walked up to get some drinks and snacks for me and my best friend Karl because he was coming over today to hang out with me. I was only a few houses over from going to my house and as I was walking I was slowly zoning out. I had finally snapped out of it when I had got to my door and walked inside I looked over and saw my sister sitting on the couch with her friend Jack
"Oh hey Jack!" I said setting the bags down on the floor behind the couch "Hey Y/n how are you!" He replied matching my tone of energy "I'm good how about you?" I said as I plopped down onto the couch next to Niki and took off my shoes. " I'm good I was just talking to Niki about a stream that I was thinking about doing with her" he replied in a calm tone "Oh okay....And Niki, Karl is coming over today is that okay?" I asked her in a sweet tone e hoping that she would say yes " Sure n/n is he staying the night again?" She replied and then asked me a question "uhm yes I think so" I replied to her "Okay well go clean your room please" she asked me so I got up and walked to my bedroom closing the door as I got in there I saw a bunch of clothes on the floor, I sigh "Ugh I need to clean this" I say as I start picking the little things up and organizing everything as soon as I was done I sat down on my bed as it swing back and forth

I laid down for a few minutes not realizing that 20 minutes had passed. I looked at my doors I heard the doorknob jiggle and I look and see Karl standing there in the doorway with a bunch of snacks and drinks smiling like an idiot " Karl you didn't have to get that much!" I reply to everything that was in his hands. I moved so he can set down the snacks on my bed and sit down. " Well you never said how much to get" he replied to my comment " Ok no need to be a smart ass" I reply as I push him. "Okay hurry up and pick a movie!" A say in a sarcastic tone. " okay... Okay!" He puts on Scream 1 "LETS GO!" I scream as I love that movie " Stop yelling!" I hear Niki yell from the kitchen "OKAY SORRY!" I yell back as I watch my movie slowly drifting off to sleep....
