"Get Up!" a loud voice called from the black oblivion followed by some shaking. "Dare, come one" groaned the voice. A smile played on my lips as another round of shaking followed. "Deirdre, get up it's Monday" the voice urged.

I opened my eyes slowly and took in the plastered ceiling and wooden walls of our apartment. The light wasn't on but rays of sunshine broke through the windows, the navy violet curtains were pushed to the sides. The rays of sunlight highlighted every speck of dust in the air.

Elora stood over me, finally done with shaking me, her cotton candy-pinky blonde hair curly and bouncy in its high ponytail, her peachy skin glowed in the sunlight and her azure blue eyes bored into mine. She was wearing her black pantsuit uniform and was holding mine in her arms.

"Good morning, it's a sunny day" I remarked cheekily.

"Good you're not hungover, get dressed, take a shower, I've let you sleep in long enough" Elora said, dropping my uniform on my head covering my eyes.

"Thank you" I said loudly into the fabric, lifting my hand out from underneath the covers of my bed to give her a thumbs up, I could practically hear her rolling her eyes at me.

Elora sighed and I heard her footsteps retreat to the kitchen. I sat up slowly letting my uniform fall onto my lap, I stretched, yawned and then tossed my navy duvet covers off me and hopped up in a springy motion. The grey carpeted floor creaked in protest and I clicked my back.

I pushed my orangey gold locks of hair off my face and grabbed my uniform and walked to the bathroom.

The white tiles were everywhere, on the floor on the walls, thankfully not on the ceiling it was all plaster up there. I yanked my long black T-shirt off my head and took off my undergarments and headed in the shower.

I turned the shower on and stepped in as the freezing drops cascaded over me waking me up before going to a nice warm. Elora says I'm crazy for not waiting for the shower to go warm but I say it gets me up and alert.

I turned up the pressure and hummed some songs as I used Elora's body-wash and shampoo that said 'Deirdre don't you dare' on it with markers. I used some of her conditioner too, she has all the best stuff.

When I hopped out I wrapped my towel around me and looked into Elora's open make-up bag. I look at myself in my mirror, my constellation of freckles patter my peachy pale skin and my gold eyes shine in the mirror.

I used some of her clean cleanser, my own deodorant of waterlily, honeysuckle and my ginger perfume. I put on some facial moisturiser, Elora's, the good stuff.

I brushed my teeth and then dried my hair and got dressed into my black pantsuit uniform. I brushed my tangly mess of golden orange hair into a high ponytail. It curled on its own and I didn't want to take my chances with Elora's curling Iron anyway. That thing looked dangerous. Just like her straightener it looks like an alligator.

I walk out the bathroom to hit the smell of scrambled eggs. I bounded to the kitchen which had more wooden walls, a lino floor and a bench with chairs on one side cupboard's on the other. Elora came out of the pantry with salt and pepper.

"It smells go-" I start looking at the pan with scrambled eggs on the stove.

"Not for you," Elora said.

"Whaaaat" I dragged out.

"Only enough for one serving and I was up first. I dibs on the- hey , did you use my Shampoo" she asked leaning over the bench to smell my hair.

"Dare, why?" she asked, shaking her head but the corners of her mouth turned up in a smile showing her dimples.

"I ran out of mine," I said.
