 Aradhana's Pov

As I sat sipping my tea with my mother, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment. The evening was peaceful, and my mother's company was always a comfort to me. But just as I was about to take another sip, my phone beeped, indicating a new message. I glanced at the screen and saw that it was from an unknown number.

Unknown Number

Come out

I raised an eyebrow, thinking it was probably just a prank. I ignored the message and continued chatting with my mother. However, after 10 minutes, I received another message.

Unknown Number

Come out, Mrs. Aradhana. I don't have the whole day to wait outside.

I was surprised and a little bit shocked. The first thought that crossed my mind was Rishabh. But how did he get my number? And why was he waiting outside?

I hesitated for a moment, contemplating whether I should go outside or not. But curiosity got the better of me, and I made my way to the front door. As I stepped outside, I saw him standing outside his car, his back facing me as he busied himself on his phone. He was looking as hot and sexy as ever, but I quickly scolded myself for even thinking that. 'Aradhana, mind your business. If he gets to know you are staring at him, then he will start giving you lectures. How can you stare without my permission?' I thought to myself.

But before I could turn back and head inside, he noticed me and gestured for me to come closer. I hesitantly walked towards him, still unsure of why he was here. 'Get inside,' he said, not even bothering to greet me. I opened my mouth to speak, but he was already getting inside the car.

I stood there, confused and slightly annoyed. But I didn't want to create a scene, so I got inside the car without saying anything. As we drove off, I quickly messaged my mother, informing her that I was going to my home with Rishabh and that it was urgent. I didn't want her to worry or wait for me to come back.

I sat in the car next to Rishabh, fidgeting with my hands nervously. He had stopped the car outside a fancy restaurant, but before I could even utter a word, he interrupted me, 'Granny is already gone for dinner with her friends, and the cook is not well.' I just said okay, not wanting to argue with him. But I couldn't help but wonder why he was behaving so weird these days.

As we entered the restaurant, Rishabh led me to a private place. We both sat down, and a waiter came to take our order. Rishabh asked me what I would like to eat, and I replied, 'Anything vegetarian that is spicy.' He ordered the food according to my taste, and we both ate silently.

I couldn't understand how a person could eat so silently. I hated this awkward silence between us. Oh god, how am I supposed to spend my life with this Mr. Silent? I tried to distract myself by playing with my food, but it wasn't helping.

Rishabh noticed that I wasn't eating much and asked me if the food was good. I snapped out of my thoughts and told him, 'No, no, it's not that. I was just thinking about something.' But he insisted I eat first, saying we didn't have the whole night to sit here. I couldn't help but think of ways to murder him in my head.

Who told him to take me out for dinner? He is such a gadha (idiot). He is always so busy with work, like he is the only one with responsibilities. I have a lot of work too, but am I complaining?
