Tess's Pov

"Tess!" I heard my name being shouted and I looked up after I added my finishing touches.

After I was done I looked up to find Adrian and a bunch of guards running towards me. Well the guards were chasing Adrian while he was sprinting towards me with a worried expression. Why he looking at me like that again? I stood up and waited for him to catch up to me; as soon as he was in front of me he grabbed me around the waist and pulled me against him. I stood their shocked until he pulled away.

"Urm...hello" I said with a slight smile though I was still kind of confused. He started to pull me away but I protested.

"Wait, I need my stuff!" I whined and he let go. I walked over and got my stuff. As I walked back to him everyone was looking at me strangely. What? Do I have something on my face? I thought.

"Urm...Tess?" Adrian said sounding slightly scared and freaked out. I creased my brows, collected my stuff and plodded the couple of steps over to him. He kept opening his mouth and shutting it while his two guards kept looking at me as if I was mad. What?

"Yea" I slurred out wanting to know what was wrong with them.

"What the hell is wrong with this cow?" he said still shocked. Oh, I sighed and grinned when I realised that was what he was going on about. I thought it was something serious for heaven's sake! He really knows how to worry a girl!

"What's wrong with it?" I said as I tapped my chin and pretended I had an invisible beard. I laughed when I imagined I was Dumbledore. All I need is a wand, though you rarely see him with one anyway. I will have to lock that thought away and ponder more on it later.

"It has make-up on" he stated as if it was obvious. Oh...

"I think she looks pretty" I gushed as I patted its head as it blew air out of his nose. I had found some make-up in my bag and decided to have some fun. It had dark lipstick on as well as blusher and eye-liner. Don't worry it was animal friendly and had been properly tested, plus I hadn't put a lot on the cow. Well I went a bit overboard with the pink and green glitter but still...

"You put make-up on a cow, hell it has eyeliner?" he asked slowly as if I had a problem. I crossed my arms across my chest and I couldn't help but groan. Though a mad smile appeared on my lips and I squealed when I thought of a brilliant idea.

"Shit Tess!" Adrian groaned and I realised I probably nearly burst his eyes drums. I looked apologetic for about 2 seconds before I grabbed my phone.

"Can we get a picture with Betsy?" I shouted jumping up and down. He looked confused until I pointed to the cow.

"Betsy?" he asked amused and I laughed and nodded furiously. He chuckled with a smile and grabbed my phone, set it as camera and gave it to one of his guards. Both his guards, while on guard looked extremely amused. I grabbed his hand and pulled him over to the cow. Jumping on her back Adrian made sure I didn't fall off. We grinned as the flash went off.

"Thank you!" I said to the guard who gave me back my phone and he smiled.

"Are we going then?" I asked as I went to pick up my stuff but found Adrian already had it. I went to get it from him but he said he could carry it for me. I smiled and kissed him on the cheek in thanks, and then laughed when he blushed slightly. You would have thought he never got a kiss before.

"Yea...come on?" he stuttered out and I followed him. He looked so cute. When he smirked and blushed slightly more I cursed that I said that out loud. I sighed before shrugging it off as they lead the way to a limo.

"What is it with you guys and limos?" I asked which seemed to pull them up short. We got in and I looked around. It was nice.

"Well-"he started but I interrupted him when I noticed something.

"OMG are those skittles?" I screamed causing the driver to swerve slightly and the two guards to jump slightly along with Adrian who looked like he was about to have a heart attack.

"Crap Tess" he gasped as he clutched his heart.

"Are. They. Skittles?" I asked, saying each word with a serious and determined tone. He nodded amused and before anyone could react I dived for them. They were in a little pot which I grabbed from the side before moving back to Adrian who was looking more than amused with the situation.

"What?" I asked as I threw a handful into my mouth. He shrugged with a smiled and grabbed some out of my hand. I grinned and pecked him on the cheek again, seemingly stunning him.

"I like someone who likes skittles" I said with a smile and returned to eating them without seeing his reaction. I felt him pick my legs up and put them on his lap as I laid my head on his shoulder. Oh a yellow one I thought as I grabbed it from the pot.

"We've just got to stop and pick up Dana and Adrian" he stated and I looked at him and shrugged. That's when I realised he was still in his suit even though it had been a while since the party ended. I shrugged and we carried on eating skittles until the car stopped and I heard Dana's voice from outside. We don't talk anymore and I want nothing to do with her, she was nothing but a bitch to me now. I mean who talks to their friends like that?

"Thank god Adrian...Tess?" Jack asked confused as he saw I was here.

"Eye eye captain" I smirked as I saluted him marine style. I heard Adrian chuckle but I threw a skittle which he caught in his mouth. My eyes widened.

"That is so cool!" I laughed as I threw another one which he caught. He laughed along with me and I didn't notice that Dana and Jack had both gotten in and we were going until Dana cleared her throat. Both mine and Adrian's heads snapped to her direction and I felt my eyes widen slightly.

"Why'd you change?" I asked her when I saw the revealing dress she had put on. I am not even joking when I saw it was revealing, she was lucky it was a nice day or else she would have been freezing. I looked at Adrian to see he was staring with a strange expression that I couldn't help but laugh at. Unfortunately Dana thought I was laughing at her and verbally attacked me.

"What you laughing at bitch, at least I have a dad who buys me things." She hissed but looked guilty and slightly taken aback when she said it. I froze and my heart clenched. She didn't know what happened to my parents but she knew they were gone.

"Dana!" Jack hissed and I shot him a thankful look before pressing a button which opened the part where the driver sat.

"Urm, where are we?" I asked him quietly as my eyes glazed over slightly.

"We are just going past the boarding school to the club where I was directed to go miss" he said and I sighed in relief.

"Could you please stop at the school so I can get out, I am suddenly not feeling so well?" I pleaded and he nodded. I sat back down and gathered my stuff ready to get out as I stared out the window.

"Tess?" I heard Adrian say as well as Jack but I ignored them. As soon as the limo stopped I opened the door and practically ran from the car. I would not cry in front of them.
