jungkook couldn't sleep.
he hates how his mind was wanting to investigate more, look into the coincidences further.
but back at the exhibition, he had already concluded- or so he thought he did - that it was all ridiculous. crazy, very crazy thoughts.
the dark haired male lightly sighs as he slowly sat up, careful not wake up the brunette asleep beside him.
it makes him feel guilty that he even has such thoughts.
he feels more guilty that he had decided to act on it.
jungkook slowly gets up, halting as he finally got out of the bed making sure that taehyung was still asleep considering how much of a light sleeper the brunette is.
he carefully made his way to the door, taking another glance at the older to ensure he hadn't woken him up.
his heart was definitely beating wildly in his chest as he makes each careful step in their hallway, heading down the stairs and to the brunette's studio.
he took in a breath as he gently opened the doors, the place a bit more clean and spacious as the art pieces were now at the exhibition.
"fuck, what am i doing" jungkook mumbled as he stood in the middle of the room.
his eyes landed on one end of the room, taehyung's little office corner. the desk table containing all files related to his artworks and other things.
he spots the pile of papers that he had accidentally stepped on yesterday and just now noticing that it was a draft for taehyung's current exhibition - just sketches he had made - lots of them - random scribbles, notes, timetable, important dates.
guilt creeped more into his skin once again seeing a page with a rough sketch of his face, him in uniform and different angles of his face and his name written by taehyung 'my pretty jungkookie' with hearts surrounding it.
he flipped the page and this time he felt the familiar shivers on his skin.
as someone who had been repeatedly reading and rechecking the records of the serial killers, he almost memorized every place and dates they happened.
and each date and place was currently on the list he was looking at.

the days went uneventful, for taehyung at least.
now that his exhibition is currently ongoing, he doesn't really have much anything to do. the artworks was his full time job so he had been spending more time at home doing things he wanted at his own pace.
he had been doing a lot of cleaning, baking and cooking making sure everything is prepared when jungkook comes back from work.
contrary to the brunette's relaxed and peaceful days, the dark haired male wasn't having the best days.
he had more sleepless nights and spending more time at work.
after finding the documents at taehyung's studio, he had taken a photo of all the files and reviewing them back at work.
he hadn't make conclusions or had any solid evidence yet - or he was just simply in denial.
as much as he hated it, he was investigating his own boyfriend and even secretly installing a tracker on the brunette's phone and tracking his movements even at home.
