Flawed Elegance

Beneath the weight of expectations high,
We strive for perfection, reaching for the sky,
Masks of flawlessness we tightly wear,
Hiding imperfections with utmost care.

In the spotlight's glare, we stand,
Measured by a relentless demand,
To never falter, never show a crack,
Perfection's burden upon our back.

We chase an elusive, unattainable dream,
An endless cycle, or so it may seem,
For in our flaws lies human art,
A canvas of beauty, a beating heart.

Let go of perfection's heavy chain,
Embrace the beauty in the rain,
For in our imperfections, we find grace,
A unique journey, a different pace.
