The small council meeting had ended. Viserys and Geralt stayed back to discuss about Aretuza, Lord Foltest of Castellan and Daemon's establishments with the gold cloaks which brought about a compromise in the matter.

Viserys tries to convince his son of Daemon's good intentions, but Geralt refused. He tells his father to relinquish Daemon from his station and send him back to Runestone to consummate his marriage with Lady Rhea Rocye.

"What is your plan, if your 'heir' doesn't even have an heir to succeed him?" Geralt questioned Viserys.

"Daemon will have an heir one-day, I trust him, he maybe be arrogant and rogue, but I know for sure he will do things the right way." Viserys vouch for his brother.

Geralt sighs. "Let's hope he doesn't maim half of knights on my unborn sibling's tournament." He offers keenly rolling the ball in his dish.

Viserys chuckles, Geralt smirks and push his chair out, standing up to crack his knuckles.
"Your uncle will thread carefully with his gold cloaks, you needn't worry. Daemon always hid to my warnings." Viserys assures, tapping his son's shoulder.

"I hope he does." Geralt says skeptically as the door was pushed open.

"I heard you brought a bard into the Red Keep to serve our house." Viserys stood up from the chair, adjusted his cloak, before walking out of the council chamber as Ser Ryam and two guards trails behind him and Geralt.

"Jakier. He's a famous Dandelion in Flea Bottom and other lower cities in town. I offered him a station to join our ministrels at the Red Keep, he has a good voice and fabulous music notes." He remarks.

Viserys grins. "Then he must play at the evening banquet after the Heir's Tournament. I'd like to hear his voice." He demands as they rounded a corner and enter the general halls of the Red Keep.

High lords, ladies, lord vassals, noblemen, servants, maids, stewards were moving hither and thither, once they sighted the King approaching, they bow in obeisance as Viserys and Geralt walked past them.

Viserys even sighted his mistress Lady Jocelyn, ascending the stairs into Maegor's Holdfast bearing flowers. Her black hair wavy bounced her back, her dress fitted her curves perfectly and her skin glowed.

Immediately Viserys body rushed with adrenaline, he couldn't wait for the day to end to have his evening reports of Aemma's health and Jocelyn's dutiful prayers to his cock.

The King and the Witcher parted ways, Viserys retired back to his chamber to have a proper breakfast, before Maester Mellos comes to leech his wounds.

Geralt proceeded to the Sept of Baelor to offer prayers for his late mother's forth coming name day and safe delivery for Aemma's unborn child.

•••••••••
Alicent had breakfast with the Queen and Rheanyra that morrow, while the small council held their meetings

it was a wholesome moment breaking bread with the Queen, they laughed, talked and ate.

Alicent felt comfortable and poised, Aemma praised for her etiquette and upbringing, Rheanyra just sat there like a porcelain doll, smiling and laughing at her mother's jokes, but deep down, she felt a little jealous of the way her mother perceived Alicent Hightower.

The Queen treated the aurburn haired like a daughter, shared lots of stories of her childhood adventures.

Rheanyra also was welcoming. She shared her cake with Alicent and even gossiped about the lastest happenings in the Red Keep.

As soon as bells of the Great Sept of Baelor tolled, Alicent pushed out her dish and stood up, adjusting her dress gracefully.

"Where are you going?" Rheanyra asked, while eating the last slice of her chocolate cake.
