"When you said that the king will regret crossing you. What did you mean," asked Sylvia.

"I mean I'm going to make sure the king regret messing with me, I don't really care what he or the people think of me but if anyone tries to hurt any of you, they're going to wish they have never met me," said Simon.

"If things go well tomorrow, if the king listen to us then we won't have to worry about people slandering you and Naofumi," said Felicia.

"Yeah," said Simon.

"Although depending on how much he hates the shield hero and demi humans will let us know if he's even willing to listen to reason," said Fumiko.

"He won't listen to reason; he hates the shield hero too much trust me I can tell," said Rin.

"So, we're going to have a lot of problems on our hands real soon," said Sam.

"Yes, depending on how the king will act tomorrow with whatever Myne frames Simon and Naofumi for will let's know if he's fine throwing away logic and reason and take his daughter's side no matter what even if we have evidence against her, I think he'll believe her just because she's his daughter and I think he trust her blindly," said Emiko. "If we have evidence and he refuse to listen to us or even let Simon and Naofumi defend themselves then we we'll know he won't listen no matter what we say."

"What about, mister Ren, mister Itsuki, and mister Motoyasu won't they hear what we have to say?" asked Amy.

"I don't think so Amy, those three have shown that they are overconfident, cocky, and care about their status as heroes and the rewards, fame, and glory," said Wilson. "Plus, they still think this is all a game, I be surprised if they take anything seriously here."

"So, you're saying that they may side with the king without so much as a second thought, if it means they'll look good as heroes?" said Jordan.

"Yep," said Wilson.

As everyone continue walking Emiko walked next to Felica in the back of the group.

"So, Felicia dear you love Simon, don't you?" asked Emiko bluntly.

Felicia blushed hard at Emiko's question.

"What! I-I well y-you could say t-that I guess," said Felicia.

"Then tell him."

"I don't know, I mean if he doesn't feel the same way the things will be awkward between us."

Emiko placed a hand on Felicia's shoulder and gave a reassuring smile.

"Felicia, I know my son well and I know for certain he feels the same way about you, I can even tell he has feelings for Jesse too, I already gave her the same talk too."

"Yeah, you are right I'll tell him tonight."

"That's good I'm looking forward to you being a part of the family and being a grandma someday."

Felicia blushed even harder than last time but with a smile on her face.

They all stopped at the inn where Naofumi and Myne are, Simon placed his hand on the door handle before turning to the others.

"Everyone when we all go to are rooms for tonight, make sure to barricade the doors before going to bed," said Simon. "I don't know what Myne is planning but if she just plans on framing me and Naofumi then the rest of you should be okey."

Everyone nodded as they want inside the inn and immediately spotted Naofumi and Myne.
