Chapter 2

 I took my surroundings in. It was unexpected to say the least. From the moment we looked, metal stood firm in this silent, spotless place. I started to walk forwards to the Death Maze, Ian just followed, I sensed that he wanted to talk so I said, "Not yet we can talk later, Maze first." He simply nodded. As we entered, giant lasers instantly extended out from the wall, ahead of us I saw other people trying to dodge the lasers but they got hit and got turned into AI. "The lost technology world." I whisper I've always thought this was just a story to make kids more obedient to their parents! "We obviously can't dodge around ,wait, do you see that? I think it's a fake laser." I focused on where his finger pointed. The snout of the laser was a bit sharper than others and on the side was a button. "Do you see the button on the side, we probably have to press it, but how? It's protected by a circle of lasers." he asked "But it's not at the bottom." I examined. We started to crawl awkwardly forwards towards the laser beam, occasionally dodging a beam of light that would flash swiftly past you. I was nearly hit by a laser beam but Ian pulled me out of the way "We're here." next to us is the fake laser, Ian flipped to his back and pushed the button. The lasers retracted and a timer counted down from ten 10, 9, 8- we had to get out of here fast, rushing to my feet I sprinted down the maze with Ian right behind me.
