"Lucia Jones is the leader of the Jones Cartel, known for her ability to manipulate different mafia bosses and blackmail them. They are a powerful organization operating in both Japan and Mexico." Nikolaus further explained the real identity of my stepmom to me.

"Also, Don Yakuza and she are half-siblings, sharing the same mother but having different fathers. Pero hindi sila magkasundo," Theron added.

My eyes narrowed. Does it mean Tita Lucia planned this all along? Was it her plan to marry Dad after ordering Christiano and Maxima to kill my Mom? But what's the reason behind it? I can't think of something that Familia Fierro nor my Mom did wrong to her.

"Snow," Briggs called me when I couldn't respond. I just can't believe that my stepmom was the one behind all of this. Hindi kapani-paniwala. Tita Lucia was really kind to me, even though I didn't like her at first, especially after Dad married her. "I know it's hard to believe, but it's the truth. Your stepmom is an enemy too." My jaw clenched as everything started to sink in. I don't care if she's my stepmom, I will do everything to hunt her down.

"We don't have time, we have to go now, Briggs. Los Royales and Familia Fierro might be in danger right now." I said and stood up.

"Did you already inform this to Boris?" He asked, which made me shook my head.

"I can't contact any of them," I said. "But before coming here, Familia Fierro visited me to discuss something. After that, I haven't received any updates from Boris and the others."

"Maybe your stepmom already made her move." Nikolaus stated.

"And maybe she was planning this the whole time. What's your plan, Snow?" Briggs asked.

"As of now, we have to go back to the mansion." I said, and he nodded.

When I turned around, I was startled to see Nikolaus right in front of me, so close. I didn't even feel him behind me earlier. This has happened to me a lot of times, where he suddenly appears out of nowhere. What is he a ghost? Na bigla-bigla nalang sumusulpot sa tabi ko?

"We'll come with you." Nikolaus said.

"You don't have to. We don't need your help." I  made it clear to him that I don't need his help. After all, I'm only here to get Briggs from him. Now that Briggs is with me, I have no reason to stay here anymore where he is.

"She is our enemy too."

"And, so?" We glared at each other.

"Can you two stop fighting?" Theron intervened, standing between us. "This is not the right time to fight. We need to make a move now and prepare, or else, something might happen." Then he looked at me as if I'm the problem in this situation. Did he really think I'm going to build alliances with Nikolaus again?

"Snow, we need them," Briggs held my arm. "You started this, right? Because you and Nikolaus had the same goal that's why you chose to be Malia. Then, in the middle of the war, you became alliances until the end of the war. But the war still not end. You need each other to end this." I turned around from them, holding my head and sighed.

"Let's go?" I looked to Nikolaus who's now in my side. Continuing alliances with him will mean I'll see him more often... pero wala na akong choice. Kailangan na namin kumilos kaagad.

"I'll drive," I said as I rolled my eyes and started to walk outside.

He gave me his car key and let me drive, since my car was already destroyed by an enemy, so I borrowed his car. I just didn't expect him to come with me and enter the passenger seat. He has plenty of cars, so why? Why do we need to be in the same car? Hindi ko nalang pinansin dahil nagmamadali na kami.
