Pumpkins

 Time line: When they try to execute buckbeak 

Dumbledore looks at the executioner with a knowing look.

"I advise you to not go through with this."

The executioner, rugged and tired of his legal murder job, sighs but Dumbledore continues.

"For your own safety I mean."

Those in attendance become wary, all straightening up a bit at the halfhearted notion of a threat. The executioner, however, shrugs off the elder man and turns around, bringing his axe up to end the creatures life. 

Then, seemingly out of nowhere, a rather large pumpkin flies through the air and explodes against the executioners head. The executioner drops to the ground unconscious as everyone but a knowing Dumbledore and an ecstatic Hagrid begin looking around for a threat, wands at the ready. Hagrid speaks up. 

"Pipsqueak showed up!"

The executioner's entourage look at him for answers but Dumbledore speaks instead.

"All those who enter these grounds should always be wary of the dead who lurk here."

That was the last thing any one of the visitors heard before a blue haired ghost appears in the nearby pumpkin patch, aiming at their heads with the pumpkins.
