Aruvi went in silence to her sister hospital bed who was staring at the ceiling with tears

"Akkaaaa pasikudhuu, mama va varaaa sollu" Sivaangi whined from inside
"Cheri varen" Aruvi said taking the tray inside
"Mama? " Sivaangi asked
"Ashwin vandha ulla anupuren sonnaru nee modhala sa- ada pavingala yenna da biriyani la vechurukinga" Aruvi said looking at the platter which had biriyani
"Inga irukura oru doctor ku birthday va, yella patients ku kuduka sonnanga" Karigalan shouted from outside
"Ama patient oda irundha vangalaukala kudka maatanga" Aruvi mumbled
"Sivaangi ya sapuda vechutu va kudukuren" Karigalan said
"Chi romance pannuradha niruthinga, yenaku ootuuu" Sivaangi whine while Aruvi chuckled and started to feed her
Aruvi was almost half done with the plate when she heard the door open
"Kari- Ashwin.." Aruvi turned and saw Ashwin, Sivaangi's eyes turned glossy
"N-naa veliya iruken nee ootu" Aruvi said to Ashwin and was about to walk out
"Akka? " Ashwin turned to her while she froze
"Un mela kovom la illa, cheriya inime idhu mari nenachu ala koodadhu" Ashwin said sternly while Aruvi just noded
"Azhudhiyaa? " Sivaangi asked but Aruvi nodded no and ran out
Sivaangi again faced Ashwin as tears started to flow, Ashwin came as sat on the chair holding her hands
"Ashwin na thani-" Sivaangi was about to tell sorry but
"Sorry solluradha irundha yenkooda pesadha" Ashwin said which made her silent
"Yen pattu ku sapadu ootata" Ashwin said as his voice cracked
"Aluguriya ashwineyyy" Sivaangi asked innocently, he hung his head to control himself and try not to cry
"Unnaiya indha nelamaila paaka mudiyala" Ashwin said
"Eyy Ashwineyy onnu illa ippo yenaku ootu pasikudhu" Sivaangi said
"Ana modha vaati patient yellaru paathukra" Ashwin said chuckling
"Ye adwiney" She said with mouth filled
"Naaga dhaan unna paathukanu nee yenga yellarayu sirika vekkura" Ashwin said feeding her another hand full
"Neeyu sapudu Ashwineyy" Sivaangi said after swallowing the food
"Illa ma ne-"
"Sapudu" Sivaangi said talking the spoon and showing it inforont of him (spoon eh andha plate la oru side la vechurundhanga adhaa dhaan iva yedutha)
"New sapudu yengaluku iruku" Ashwin said
"Appo unaku yen mela pasam illa la p-" Before she could finish he held her hand and took the food
"Podhuma" He said eating
"Mm mm saptadhu podhum ootu" Sivaangi said
She ate the rest of the food like a good kid while he was telling about the fun that happened backstage during the funtion
"Ashwineyy" Sivaangi pouted
"Thookam varudha" Ashwin said giving the plate to Karigalan who was sitting outside
"Ama" Sivaangi said sheepishly smiling
"Thoongu na inga ukkaruren" Ashwin said sitting on the stool again as she closed her eyes while he patted her head slowly, slowly he also fell asleep whith his head on her hand
