MARVIN AGUILAR and Collette Taylor met when they were in college. Marvin was studying electrical engineering and Collette was a chem major. They had their physics course together, so they saw each other three days a week.
Of course, after a few weeks of stolen glances, Marvin decided to ask Collette if maybe she wanted to go get lunch with him sometime. Collette said sure and they went out to go and get food.
For months, they went on lunch dates until Collette got tired of waiting and asked Marvin if they could be considered boyfriend and girlfriend. So, after that, they started dating.
And for three years, they dated, not having eyes for anyone else, except for each other. Everyone wanted to be them, to have a relationship like them.
And then, shortly before their college graduation, Collette discovered that she was pregnant. And of course, Marvin stayed by her side when people had warned him that maybe he should carry on with his career and have Collette abort the baby, but Marvin loved Collette more than life and he didn't listen to what anyone had to say about his life and what he should choose.
They decided to keep the baby and Collette walked down the stage with a full belly and days later, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl — to which Marvin and Collette both named Belinda Evita Aguilar. They'd call her Bea or Lindy for short.
Years down the road, they ended up having two more girls, Gabriella and Esmeralda. And their little family was happy and content for years. They supported their girls no matter what they chose career wise.
Like, Lindy with her working as a biochemist at the FBI or Gabi's fashion line or Esme's creativity with art. The three girls loved their parents, loving how supportive and loving they were.
Then, the car accident happened.
A drunk driver swerved on the freeway, hitting the car that both Marvin and Collette were inside of and it flipped over and then exploded due to the fire. Their bodies were recovered, but they were burnt to a crisp.
After that, Lindy, Gabi and Esme weren't the same. Their parents dying took a toll on them, but they knew that they wouldn't want them to give up solely because they were gone.
