It was High noon when the townsfolk noticed a strange accumulation of strange dark clouds. They blanketed the sky in a dark grey, causing it to look like it was late in the evening, the street lamps flickered on to light up the streets. The wind picking up slightly, blowing leaves across the street. Midnight stayed in the library paying the strange weather phenomenon no mind, putting returned books back onto the shelf. The heat kicked on in the library, causing all movement to pause. Midnight had confusion written as their features. "That's weird, the heat shouldn't have kicked on by itself. Its the second week of November, and its not even that cold out. Midnight muttered.

While Midnight was distracted, they didn't notice a small fuzzy white being crept into the library. This being would either be the cause of Midnight's future problems or the solution, it was all up to the reaction he would have. Upon turning around, Midnight jumps up in freight, a loud startled gasp escaping from him. The white rabbit tilted its head, its golden colored irises locking onto the human's form. The white rabbit hopped slowly towards Midnight as if to tease them. Every hop, One step backwards Midnight took. The rabbit got a mischievous glint in its eyes, and started to hop at rapid pace towards them. Startling them once more, and trying to put space between them and the fuzzy creature, caused a chase to erupt in the library. Midnight weaved through the bookshelves trying to be careful to not knock anything over.

"stay back evil beast" Midnight shouted, at the rabbit who unfazed continued to hop closer. "hey Bestie guess wha-" Jenny paused as her and stacy entered the library confused to see their best friend just running around like a chicken with their head cut off.... "What are you-" Midnight wasted no time in running and hiding behind the girls. "There is an evil monster in here, it won't quit hopping towards me... You must get rid of it." The girls look at their terrified friend, and press their lips together. "Of course bestie and where is this monster now" Jenny questions, seeing nothing out of the ordinary. With a shaky finger Midnight points their finger towards the table where the white rabbit sits, staring at them not blinking. The girls erupt in boisterous laughter. "Oh Midnight who knew you were afraid of cute things, here, I'll go get it" Jenny picks up the rabbit, and pets it soft fur. "See that wasn't so bad. Hey! Here is an idea, keep the little guy Midnight. Bring him to work with you every day, have some company. It must get awful lonely in here when me and Jenny don't visit." The idea was terrifying to Midnight... not to mention spending money to keep the little monster alive, didn't seem like the best idea, but within the short amount of time they have been friends with the girls they knew once they wanted something to go their way it would. "Fine.... i'll take the little guy..." Midnight didn't know what to name him. "Whatcha going to name him?" Jenny asks expectantly. Midnight looks down at the rabbit, a voice popping into his head. "I think i'll name him Twilinomi"

Midnight and the girls had to run to the local pet shop to gather all the supplies, for the unexpected guest. The clouds still hung over the sky, and the wind had picked up a steady pace, anymore and it could blow someone away. Entering the pet the store the girls are greeted with welcoming smiles, Midnight was not however. The people seemed slightly disgusted to even see them there... Whispers started to become loud the longer they were there. Midnight could feel anger bubble up in the pit of the stomach and rear its head, and they unconsciously squeezed Twilinomi, who didn't seem to mind, just settled deeper into Midnight's arms. His gold eyes glowing as he looked up at the human's whispering about the kind soul that held him in their arms.

He looked at the blonde teen who was gossiping to her friends about the town's outcast whom he assumed was Midnight. His eyes glowed really bright, the gold color becoming nearly white, and then the cage door unlatched itself and the parrot's she was looking at, started to attack her. Her friends all ran out of the store with her, shouting curses and saying the curse of the town outcast is real. Midnight says nothing just stares at the girls as they run out. Curse of the town outcast? The most ridiculous thing ever heard. Seems like they'll never stop being considered a freak. "Bestie, look at this cage, isn't it the coolest? I think the little guy would love it" Jenny calls out snapping them from the dark thoughts that were starting to swirl. Approaching Jenny and Stacy who is bouncing for joy, Midnight notices the large cage. It looks like an over sized hamster cage, in the center is a wheel, and tubs connecting and twisting to one another, eventually leading to back to either side of the cage.

Looking at the price tag and their eyes nearly bugging out of their head, then looking back at the girls, Midnight knew this was the one... Just had to have hope that Twilinomi would love the price tag for the cage he was about to be occupying. Taking the cage up to the counter, the cashier scowled at Midnight, who was unfazed by it. After paying for the cage, and swiftly taking their leave a sigh of relief escaped their lips. Little did Midnight know, the cashier would have their karma would be delivered to them early. All the cages popped open, letting every single animal escape, the cashier's worried and startled shouts ringing out in the air, as the owner followed suit. They would be at it for awhile.

Twilinomi smirked to himself, snuggling deeper into midnight's arms, a blissful slumber over taking the him.

At the house they got everything set up for the rabbit, who was soundly passed out in Midnight's arms, snoring. No one was sure how he was going to react to his new caged area, but everyone hoped he liked it. "Okay let me put him in there" midnight mumbled to himself, as Jenny opened the cage door. As soon Twilinomi was set down out of Midnight's hands, he was up and alert, causing the three humans to get slightly wide eyed, unmoving. Then Twilinomi let out the most adorable sneeze, and all three humans relaxed.

"I do plan on letting him roam around. I don't want him to get lonely, and since there aren't any other pets that could cause him harm, i think it will be okay." midnight took the rabbit back out of his cage, setting him down onto the floor. Twilinomi sniffed around the new area for alittle bit, sneezing every now and then when too magick got up his little nose. This place reeked of magick and Twilinomi had a safe bet that Midnight was none the wiser. How he longed to just get back to his original form, and help his human, become the High Archon that they were meant to be. Midnight, Jenny, and Stacy all went to the kitchen, letting Twilinomi to explore his new home.

"So, What do you guys want for dinner?" The question was thrown out, and hung over their heads for alittle bit. "Well, im down for whatever, but i really have a hankering for coney dogs." Stacy giggled while rubbing her stomach, causing laughter to erupt from her girlfriend and her. Midnight got water on to boil for the hotdogs, and the girls got the stuff for the coney sauce. They were making it homemade which meant that things would have to be chopped and diced. The three fell into a comfortable silence, a steady pace shared between the three. Eventually dinner was served, and the three sat in the kitchen having a great time, nothing could have ruined the perfect moment.

"Crash" The sound startling everyone. Rushing out of the kitchen and to where the sound came from, they find Twilinomi on the floor, with the weird book they opened, and the text glowing gold. Midnight was flabbergasted, not knowing what to do, they looked to their two friends. Stacy and Jenny had different looks from confused to slightly angry. Midnight went to approach Twilinomi and get him off the book but the rabbit speaking nearly caused them to faint.

"I wouldn't do that if i were you" A Tenorial voice spoke. Jaws dropped agape in shock. Jenny was the first to recover and pointed accusing at the rabbit. "Could you talk the entire time you little ball of fluff?" Twilinomi snorted. "Indeed, well not really. This place reeks of magick, and i can now see why. This book was being carried around everywhere. Now down to business." The rabbit hopped off the page, a smirk gracing his features again. "Hello Midnight"
