Jungwon had talked to Jay that night, and Jay had confirmed the theory.
Apparently, Heeseung really didn't mean for it to happen, and that it was all sudden when his ex kissed him. He had pushed him away immediately but Jake was already gone by then.

Jungwon believed Heeseung, but he didn't know it Jake would.

"Hey! Earth to Wonnie! You need to start inflating more balloons!" Sunoo interrupted, waving a hand in front of Jungwon's face.

"Oh! Sorry!" Jungwon quickly worked on the balloons. Now wasn't the time to think of that. He needed to focus.

Jay's POV
"GUYS!!! Where are you? What's taking so long??" Jay screamed into the bedrooms of his friends.

"Chill, that's too much questions in a sentence," Heeseung teased, stepping out, wearing a nice plain blue shirt with jeans, a coat over his shoulders.

"Says who? I'm allowed to be curious...PENGUIN!"

"Yes brother, I'm here. Are you blind or sumn? I was literally following you this whole time," Sunghoon said from behind Jay, and Jay jumped in shock.

"Uhh, okay, creep. Now where's Nicholas?"

"Hey, let a dude take his time okay? We need to look pretty too. How else would we attract our future boyfriends?" Nicholas sassed, appearing out of his room, flipping his hair.

"I'm pretty enough being me, don't you know that? Anyway, you don't even have a crush how are you suppose to get yourself a boyfriend?" Jay asked, and Nicholas winked at him.

"That's the purpose of the event, darling."

"Save me," Jay turned the other way and Nicholas gasped, hurt. Heeseung and Sunghoon snickered at that and the four of them headed to Jay's Audi, not before taking their packed bags with them for the overnight stay for 2 nights.

Damn. This place was amazing. Fairy lights were hanging around every stall, and food and drinks were being sold every corner they turned. There were game booths too. And even a random dance areas which would be held after the performances.

K Hyung was right. It was looking fun already.

"Hey, let's choose our tents first," Heeseung guided his friends to the tent areas. The student in charge there led them to one of the bigger tents, where they could all share one tent.

"Thanks," Heeseung said, smiling, and the student blushed slightly.

"I thought Jake is suppose to be simping over you," Nicholas joked when the student left, and Heeseung groaned.

"Shut up, yixiang. Go and find a dude to hook up with or something," Heeseung mumbled, and Jay looked over at him concernly.

"You bet I will!" Nicholas agreed, stepping out of the tent and heading into the festival area. Sunghoon just shook his head and followed, leaving Jay and Heeseung alone in the tent.

"I'm sorry," Jay apologised, but Heeseung just dismissed it.

"Nah, it's fine. He's expected to act like that, I literally led him on. He probably thinks I'm a playboy now," Heeseung grumbled, and headed out, without waiting for Jay.

Jay sighed, and sunk to the floor. He hoped things betweeen the both of them would patch up soon. He took out his phone and pressed on his notifications, and realised he had received a message from Jungwon.
