The Project 'Buddy'

Jungwon, Sunoo and Jake were now heading towards the canteen for lunch. Niki and Taki had to stay back since they didn't finish their homework and Daniel was stuck in another class. Jungwon was breathing out a sigh of relief, because they just had a whole boring ass lecture just now.

Jungwon didn't know what happened with the crushing dude and his crush, but after classes, he kept insisting that his 'body spray' would literally save him from death at that moment and 'make him smell much better for his crush', he told Jungwon.

"Won't he notice you're wearing perfume?" Jungwon had asked, and Sunoo gasped.

"Perfume? Are you living under a rock, Yang Jungwon? Perfume and body spray are two different things!" Sunoo emphasised, making Jungwon roll his eyes, for the 5th time that day. /help why did I actually search this up? 😓😭 /

"Yes, your highness," Jungwon responded sarcastically.

"And yes! He should notice me with this body spray," Sunoo added, clearly proud.

"Pfft, imagine he doesn't like the smell," Jake muttered beside him, causing Jungwon to stifle a laugh. Sunoo hit those two on the head. "Hey! Don't jinx it!"

A few moment later, his eyes perk up upon seeing something in the distance.

"Oh my god, there he is!" Sunoo whispered, pointing.

Jungwon squinted. "He's air? Oh help, you're attracted to air now? I'm sorry to say this....but you have depression," he concluded, earning himself a thwack on the back from Sunoo. Jake just started laughing uncontrollably at the side.

"No! I'm talking about human him!" Sunoo pointed more exaggeratedly this time, and Jungwon saw what he saw. There, stood a tall man, who looked about 20 or 21 with handsome features. He was wearing a simple hoodie and still looked attractive.

No wonder hyung's simping. Jungwon smirked at that.

Next to the guy, Jungwon spotted Heeseung. Their eyes met for a brief second and Heeseung's eyes widened in recognition. Jungwon quickly looked away but he already knew that in about 2.5 seconds he would be-

"Jungwon? Is that you? Hey! Come over here," Heeseung called from his seat, and Jungwon mentally slapped himself.

"Wait, did he just call us over?" Jake asked, holding on to Jungwon's arm.

Sunoo looked at him from Jungwon's other side. "No he didn't he called the canteen lady over." Jake obviously got the hint and rolled his eyes.

"Stop fighting, you two," Jungwon instructed, and the both of them immediately became quiet.

When they reached the table, Jungwon saw that it wasn't just Heeseung and Sunoo's crush (okay I know it sounds like what you think it probably sounds like but I wrote it that way cuz Jungwon doesn't know who Sunoo's crush is then sooo the phrasing is a bit weird but it's not that both of them-yeah you all are smart why are you still reading this 💀💀) but there was also another guy. He had a stylish look with branded clothing. Yeah, the hoodie was branded.

Must be some rich dude.

"Hey," Jungwon greeted shyly, waving at Heeseung. Heeseung smiled and made space for the three of them to sit. Sunoo then started introducing himself and Jake.

"Hi, I'm Heeseung, as you probably already know. That's Jay, and the one standing is Sunghoon." At the mention of this, Sunoo looked over and gave Sunghoon a smile. Jungwon starts regretting sitting beside him and silently vomitted in the corner.
