"Push." The doctor shouted.

"Seriously, can't you do something as simple as giving a birth!" My father in law shouted.

The doctor's hand pulled at my womb.
I screamed.

The doctor's hand used scissors to cut skin to make room for baby.
Ahh, the mother screamed.
Her hands were tied to the bed.
Her legs spread for the doctor's examination.
"What is happening doctor?" The lord demanded .
" The lady must push for the babe to be born." The doctor replied curtly.
" Push , Arora. Push , girl. Do your duty." Her mother in law shouted.
And the doctor , with a yank ,
Got the babe .
And it was in his hand , bloodied.
Oh , god , Arora thought.
Thank you .
" What ,what is it?" Her father in law demanded.
But the doctor's face sida it all.
He shook his head.
Arora spoke painfully," doctor , make her cry . Make her breath."
She knew it in her bones it was a girl.
Her lovely girl.
" No point in it , it is a girl." Her father in law cried .
" Why , is god? Why?" Her mother in law shouted.
And no one looked at the bleeding mother , or the halfborn child.
And the mother left with her daughter,
To heaven.
