𝟑𝟕. ❙𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

"Valentina, where's Reid?" Emily questioned as they pulled away from each other. Valentina's eyes went to the bloodied mattress with the humans remains, which was torture enough to look at on its own. Valentina barely heard the question.

"Valentina?" Emily questioned once more, trying to gain her attention, but it didn't work. Not until she used the name, "Tina?"

Valentina's eyes moved back to Emily so she could ask again, "Where is Spencer?"

"He said...He said he was going around back. I told him not to, but...but he just went..." Valentina explained with a very tired, weak, and shaken voice. Emily motioned to Derek, who rushed off to get a group of cops to start looking for Spencer. Best case scenario, he was still out back somewhere.

Emily took Valentina over to the ambulance where JJ was waiting for her. Since she was still so much in shock, Emily helped her sit down on the edge of the ambulance. Emily did then hurry to go inside the house to help Hotch and Gideon look around. JJ, however, stayed with her in the ambulance as the paramedic began sterilising her cuts.

The one on Valentina's face wasn't all that bad, it was only a scratch. There wasn't a cut on her waist, her shirt was only ripped. Only a sign of a small scratch. Although, the cuts on her arms were quite bad. Valentina had to take off her shirt since it was so ripped, but she had a black tank top underneath. The paramedic had to sew up a few of them since they were so deep. Valentina was using her arms to block the dog.

The paramedic wrapped a medical bandage around her left bicep and another around right forearm and wrist. It went around her palm since there were some cuts there and on the back of her hand as well. Valentina wasn't too fond of having to wear just a tank top. It showed all of the scars she had, from the burn scars she got on the job from the Fisher King case to everything inflicted during her abduction. Her past was on display for everyone to see.

"I know it sucks that you had to hurt those animals, but you did the right thing. You were defending yourself." JJ reassured her friend. Valentina only nodded her head. There was this look on Valentina's face. It was a little off.

"Tina, is there something else going on?" JJ asked, seeing that what just happened to her wasn't what was bugging her. There was something else at play here, and it was worrying JJ.

"I hurt Spencer. And I regret it with all my heart. I want to take it back and I just want to hold him. I just...I'm so tired. I just want Spencer." Valentina was desperate to so much as hear his voice. Valentina not only wanted to make sure he was okay, but she too wanted him to be here so she would feel safe. Spencer is her constant in her life, her knight in shining armour of her heart. Valentina just wanted him in her arms.

"Hey, is there any sign of him yet?" Emily suddenly asked as she was walking back down to the ambulance to talk to one of the officers that was nearby. He explained, "We've got every one of our units on the road. He won't make it far."

The context that Valentina was hearing was not reassuring in the slightest. She assumed that he was out back, like he said he was, and that he would be found easily. "Wait, we can't find Spence?"

"Not yet, Valentina." Emily spoke calmly, hoping that emotion would translate to her. It did not.

Valentina tried to get up from the ambulance and walk over, but JJ knew she needed to rest after what she had just been through. "What's going on?"

"Tina, I think you should just-"

"No, where's Spencer? We need to find him. Why can't we find him?!" Valentina expressed as JJ held onto her shoulders, trying to get her to calm down, but she was in a state of panic.
