Poppy's POV: (at volcano rock city)
I sit down on my temporary bed while looking at a picture, getting more and more sad every time I look at it. I've been at volcano rock city for 4 months, learning about the rock and roll culture. And while it's been great, I really miss home, and my friends, and Viva, and especially Branch. I haven't seen him or heard his beautiful voice in 4 months, and I still won't until I go home in a month.

I don't even feel a tear sliding down my face until I hear Barb call my name.

"Earth to popsqueak!! You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Okay. Anyway, we're needed on the stage. They need our opinions on which color lights we should use for the concert tonight."

"Okay. Let's go!"

I put the picture back in my hair before following Barb out of my room and onto the stage.

One we're there, Barb starts talking to the workers about some technical things, and I'm just standing there bored.

Suddenly, Barb looks behind her before smiling.

"Hey, Popsqueak, you should look behind you. The lights look pretty cool."

I turn around, and my heart stops. Standing there, the biggest grin on his face, is Branch.

"Hey, Poppifer. You miss me?"

I stand there for a moment, making sure this is real. I pinch myself, and I realize, it is.

I run as fast as I can, crashing right into Branch, sending both of us onto the ground. I wrap my entire body around his waist, smiling.

"So, did you miss me or not?"

"Does this answer your question?"

I help Branch get up, and I don't even give him time to react before I grab him by the vest and kiss him. I feel him put his hands on top of mine.

After we part, I smile at him, my heart complete.

"I have really missed doing that."

Branch smiles at me.

"Me too."

Branch cups my cheek in his hand before softly pecking my lips.

I smile at him again before crashing my lips into his. I can feel him smile. I then smile, knowing if something like this ever happens again, we'll be able to handle it.
