University is great so far, with senior year almost ending, Jungwon could finally finish the year off with no socialising and definitely no relationships whatsoever.
But when he and his friends are assigned to a project with the popular gang, life...
Was it because they were alone? Oh, what was he thinking, they're in public of course they're not alone!
Jay had told him to dress comfortably and not too fancy. He told Jungwon he had something planned in mind, and Jungwon didn't mind. He was really curios though. What could Jay possible know about him and bring him out like this?
Jungwon was wearing a simple jacket over his white t shirt, and black pants. He had buttoned up his jacket cuz it was too cold, and honestly, this was the first time he actually dressed up to go somewhere.

He was currently waiting for Jay, who seemed to be taking forever. Like actually. He told him they would meet at around 11.15 am but it's like, 11.50 am now.
"Where is this guy?" Jungwon mumbled and pushed his glasses up, trying to make it set comfortably on his nose. As he did, he felt someone place their hands on his shoulders and he jumped up in surprise.
Jungwon flung around, getting his taekwondo skills ready and almost, almost punched a surprised looking Jay. His fist was inches away from Jay's nose bridge and the older gave him an amused look. Jungwon groaned and smacked Jay.
"Yahhh! I could have kicked your face too, you know? I don't want you internally and externally bleeding because of me," Jungwon whined, and Jay grinned at him.
"I'd rather get kicked by you than some creepy ass looking person kissing me," Jay teased and Jungwon scoffed.
"Yeah, like anyone has ever done that," Jungwon joked, but immediately lost his smile when he saw Jay's eyes darken a little, and he zoned out for a minute. When he laughed at Jungwon's joke, it came out dark and bitter, not the one Jungwon was used to.
"Um, should we go?" Jungwon tried asking, wanting to break the sudden tension that had formed. Immediately, Jay snapped out of whatever trance that was he was in, and turned to look at Jungwon excitedly. His catlike eyes turned up and he grinned, taking Jungwon's wrist as he pulled him towards his Audi.
"Where are we going?" Jungwon asked when Jay shut the door to his side of the car.
"You'll see." ———— "Stop, you're tripping me," Jungwon exclaimed softly as he stared at the sign hanging in front of the small cafe.
"Am I though? Cuz I could hit you right now and you'd still be conscious-"
"You bought me to a cat cafe?!" Jungwon shouted in awe, his eyes largening as he faced Jay. His smile was so wide that his dimples practically flexed when he did. He was clearly excited and touched.
Jungwon had always wanted to go to a Cat Cafe. It was something on his bucket list, but he had never had the time to go to one, let alone afford it. Before his mum got her job, he and his mum were financially unstable for quite a while. He had to start working in middle school, 3 jobs at once. Then it became 2 when he entered high school.
