As night fell, when everyone was asleep, the door to Tengku Qayyum's bedroom opened slightly from within. The door was slowly pushed open without making any noise. Then, Tengku Qayyum's face appeared behind the door. His long neck searched for something that would prevent him from going out tonight.

When the silence without humans prevailed, Tengku Qayyum straightened his body, pretending to be calm. He glanced at his watch. It was 11 p.m. At this time, Tengku Qayyum knew his family was already asleep. Tengku Qayyum silently stepped out of the room.

Tengku Qayyum's attire was not usual; he usually wore formal attire and the prince's suit. He only wore a white t-shirt paired with a black jacket, jeans, and his hair covered with a black cap. He covered half of his face so that the palace people wouldn't notice him.

Tengku Qayyum quickly walked to another door to exit the palace. He couldn't leave through the main entrance. Right now, he wanted to go to a place that would calm his mind. A place where everyone wouldn't recognize him as the crown prince.

Tengku Qayyum's eyes turned towards the sliding door. It was quite far from him. Tengku Qayyum scanned the entire palace hall. Hoping that no one would notice his actions like a thief.

Tengku Qayyum ran to the sliding door that led directly to the wall. Swiftly and agilely, Tengku Qayyum exited the palace. He ran to the wall, hunching his body. He wanted to prevent his figure from becoming a silhouette under the palace guard's lights. If he were found, it would be over for him. This would indeed be the last time he sneaked out like this.

Tengku Qayyum's routine when he wanted privacy: sneaking out of the palace and relaxing in the outside world without being caught by the palace residents. Tengku Qayyum was tired of living as the crown prince.

Occasionally, he craved the feeling of being an ordinary citizen.

Crack! Tengku Qayyum's body froze. He was stunned when his foot accidentally stepped on a wooden twig. Luckily, he had already passed the palace wall. If he were still lingering on the wall, wouldn't it be embarrassing?

"Who's there?!"

Tengku Qayyum's body tensed even more. Quickly, he bit his lip to prevent any sound or breath from escaping. He would be dead if caught!

Tengku Qayyum's ears sharply caught the movement of the palace guards. Sensing the silence, Tengku Qayyum quickly left the palace area. Before getting caught again, he better scram fast! Without using any transportation, Tengku Qayyum casually walked along the road, which was surrounded only by lush green forests.

Tengku Qayyum's current goal was to find some food. Then, perhaps, the sea.

Tengku Qayyum let out a long sigh while raising both hands, stretching his muscles. He didn't care at all about the dark road illuminated only by streetlights. Who would rob him when he only had fifty ringgit with him?

Just enough to feast on some night market food.

Twenty minutes later, Tengku Qayyum had arrived at the night market. His eyes wandered as he saw the variety of foods in front of him. The atmosphere tonight was bustling as usual. Everyone was busy buying their own food.

Kriuk! Tengku Qayyum hissed. He rubbed his flat stomach. It had started singing karaoke. Hm. What to eat, hmm? Everything looked appetizing.

Tengku Qayyum began to walk, searching for food. Tonight, we'll feast until we're satisfied! It's not often that he gets to taste commoner's food. Everything seemed tastier compared to palace food. After a few minutes of walking, Tengku Qayyum's eyes settled on the chicken percik rice.

Tengku Qayyum swallowed saliva. Oh my! It looks so delicious! Tengku Qayyum then headed towards the nasi kerabu tent. It was somewhat difficult to purchase as many people were buying it. Having nasi kerabu every night, huh? Impressive!
