Do you stumble upon little snippets of our story and fall in love with the memories too?
Like a broken record scratching over the same sad hue
everything is reminiscent of you

Back to rolling cigarettes and bowing down to urges that Ignore regret.
Indulging in sexpots you’d do anything to forget.
Hidden between pages of our book im lost within your library of thoughts.
I know you wake up to corpses in your sheets, don't you hate how your soul rots?

You blew out our love with the bellowing sizzle of a fleeting giggle
Now, daily, you chop weed with a sickle
I could be your sober speil, but you chose a pill
Doesn't addiction make you feel ill?

you don't Know yourself.
Nor do i
Lacking self-love
Help yourself
The moments im no longer
The afterthought
After gouging yourself sick, thought
Then maybe I'll give us a second poem that ends in love
