Celebrity Crush

Hey Senku! Would you rather --

Don't bother,  those crap magician trick questions don't resonate with me, heh .

Even on a pre apocalyptic world,  in some way, somewhat Senku and Gen had already met

Senku seemed bothered by the whole attention a particular guy got,  Gen, a popular magician, with many popular books about magic and psychology. But to Senku that was just all fluff and no real deal anywhere.

However, class wasn't the only place Senku would see that charismatic young fellow. TV, magazines,  posters, he seemed to be somewhat of a poular micro-celebrity. It kinda bothered Senku.

Everytime he looked at those deceiving eyes, even just on paper or screen, he couldn't help but stare with awe, at least for a few seconds.

And that bothered him even more.

It appeared as if Senku had developed a small celebrity crush on Gen.

Hey Senku —Byakuya asked

Senku looked at his father, because even if adoptive that's what he was.

Would you care to go to the grocery store and get these groceries? —he asked with a warmth smile

Heh. Old man, you know how busy I am, right? — Senku replied with a grin on his face — Gimme that list .

Even if getting groceries could seem time consuming,  he was well aware that his old man has astronaut training due that day. Senku snatched the list and as he parted, Byakuya saw him leave with a smile on his face. He appreciated Senku's help. Byakuya may have adopted Senku, however,  in his eyes Senku was 10 Billion percent his true and only son.

Senku explored around the supermarket (or rather mini markwt) isles, he might as well get a cool snack too. He saw some Cola and decided to grab a bottle,  why not?

As his hand approached the Cola bottle,  coincidentally another hand happened to reach out at the same time on the same place, and one hand ended on top of the other. It was Gen's.

Gen smiled deviously. Senku looked at him perplexed. It was that crap magician all his classmates were talking about these past few months.

Well, well, it seems destiny has brought us together, don't you agree?— said Gen jokingly

It appears so — Senku replied,  keep in mind both of them were still grabbing that bottle of Cola

Oh...Given that I'm a popular celebrity around,  I'd expect a guy like you to be excited — Gen said with a "disappointed " tone on his voice. Senku buffed

Heh, well, surprise surprise,  I'm not one of those idiotic fans of yours who get excited with those cheap tricks and those crap questions . I know who you are, Asagiri. I can see right through your intentions — Senku grinned snatching the Cola.

Oh yeah? My my. Well then, what gets you excited? — Gen asked with an inocent looking smile.

Senku smirked.

Science

He confidently answered giving Gen the bottle of Cola they both happened to grab at the same time and taking another one and left Gen somewhat flabbergasted. Gen was speechless. He didn't know what it was but he suddenly felt a rush of adrenaline hit him, his heart raced, his face was warm.  He, that unknown guy with peculiar hair was so cool. Gen smiled,  remembering Senku's face.

Well done stranger...

Gen thought to himself,  perhaps even whispered it, as he saw Senku leave. He happily got a tighter grip on his Cola and skipped like an idiot.

Senku, on the other hand had a serious expression,  and was looking down.  He had met that guy that always bothered him,  and it seemed quite magical.  Not that he believed on those things,  however,  it couldn't easily be described in scientific terms. He buffed. He waa not gonna fanboy that moment.  No, we wasn't. But, maybe a little,  after all,,you don't meet your celebrity crush everyday. Then he buffed again, but this time annoyed.  Science was his life. Mayhe he had time for friendship,  but not for love. Nope. Not at all.

Hey everyone! This chapter takes place on a world before the petrification! The next one will take some too, but after that not anymore!

Any Senku stuff will be indented right. Gen's will be centered. Anyone else indented left. Unless editing goes boo boo and gets messed up lmao. But in general, it's to helo you not get lost!
