chapter one ,

Fleur took a deep breathe in , looking around as she slowly walked through the gates of heartly high. Admittedly she wasn't ready for the school year at all , mentally and physically. In her tote bag that hung on her shoulder was a ripped up notebook , a dried out pen and half a snapped pencil.

Mentally the events of past weeks music festival still lingered in her mind.She had gotten white girl wasted and ended up in dustys bed , just hours after Spider and her had called it quits. The seemingly perfect couple of spider and Fleur had mistaken there platonic friendship for more.

She imagined how now they would probably awkwardly smile at each other in the hallway, and fooling around with each other wild be a distant memory.

Just as these thoughts crossed her mind she felt Dusty , Spider and Ants eyes follow her as she passed them walking through the busy school entrance. "Why don't you take a picture it will last longer" Fleur remarked , smiling at the trio sarcastically.

"If you insist" Ant smirked as he replied , reaching his cargo pant pocket for his phone before quickly being stopped by a slightly concerned looking Spider. Fleur rolled her eye trying to act unbothered as she continued to walk.

Just as she thought she had escaped the boys clutches , she felt the vibration in the concrete as Dusty ran up behind her. "You good?" Dusty smiled as he caught ip to the blonde , causally rapping his arm round her.

"Yeah, are you" Fleur smiled nervously, as much as she found Dusty attractive. He was a good friend , but when it came to more she just felt guilty. Amerie had been obsessed with him since they were kids, and talked about him constantly. Worst of all Spider was his best friend

Sleeping with him had been a heat of the moment thing. A mistake and one time thing that she would insure never happened again. Fleur just hoped Dusty felt the same. "Bloody amazing" Dusty smiled playfully down at her , gliding his fingers through her blonde waves as he stood like fidgeting like a golden retriever.

"Hey Dusty maybe- Spider and mines breakup is still fresh" Fleur began to nervously explain "He's your best friend, I don't want him knowing what happend" she said shrugging away his touch.

"Oh yeah shit, so i'll see you later then?" Dusrt said as if he was only just realising how wrong them sleeping tougher had been. "Bye Dusty" Fleur said forcing a fake smiled before walking ahead.

Walking through the main entrance to the school building it felt as if the world was slowly crumbling around her. Fleur was so consumed by her emotions she hardly noticed that she had barged straight through Quinni and Darren in the process.

"Oi people are stood here!" Darren shouted after Fleur. The blonde spun around on her foot , even more guilt rising now from the pit of her stomach "I'm so sorry" She said forcing a polite , yet extremely awkward smiled before continuing on her way.

"Leave her darren , I heard her and Spider broke up" Quinni said yanking darren's arm so that they both began to walk in the opposite direction.
"Good, them two should never procreate" Darren said as they're voice began to fade into the distance , moving further away from Fleur.

It felt like a release once Fleur reached her blue locker in the busy hallway. She gripped the sides letting out a deep breathe wondering what could happen if Spider or Amerie found out ever found out . "Hey excuse me do you know where the front office is?" She heard an unfamiliar voice come from behind her.

She turned around to meet the eyes of a boy she had never seen before. Heartly high was small , everyone knew everyone. Fresh meat was dxtmerlt rare, and by the looks of this knew boy Fleur knew it wouldn't be long before he was the news of the school. "Sorry I didn't introduce myself , I'm Malakai" The boy nervously reached his hand out to shake fleurs.

Almost unsure she took his hand and shook it "I'm Fleur, I can show you if you want" She said putting on her seemingly confident fake persona. "Thanks so much" Malakai said as he began to follow her out of the hallway across the courtyard.

"You draw" The boy asked motioning to the intricate doodles al over Fleurs hands which she had drawn on whilst sat on the bus that morning. "Not really, use to" Fleur said attentions to rub the stars of her hands.

"Just up these steps" Fleur said as they reached the second school busking that had the main office Malakai was looking for in it. "Ok thanks, see you around?"

"Yeah see you arou-" Fleur begins before her attention was dragged away from Malakai

"Oi! There's a fully blown sex map in the old stair well" A loud ginger girl shouted "It's called the incest map" she continued. Everyone got u up or abandoned wherever they had been walking to, and a stampede went in the direction of the old stairwell.
