Riley
I wake up at three a.m. with one of the twins crying. I quickly get up and run to their room. I walk over to Masons crib. I pick him up up and slowly rock him.
"shhhhh baby, mommy's here. I bet you're hungry, aren't you? " I wisper
I walk over to the rocking chair and sit, I pull down my shirt and begin to breast feed him. Lucas walks through the hall and stops at the door.
"Riley, is that you? " he whispers
"yeah. " I reply
He walks on in and quickly looks away.
"why are you looking away? " I wisper
"Ummm, to give you some privacy. " he replies
"it's okay. " I say
"are you sure? " he ask
"yeah... I mean I am your fiancee. " I reply.
"true. " he says walking on over
He gets on his knees beside me and looks at Mason.
"I love you. " he mumbles as he strokes the top of his head.
Once he is finished he detaches himself from me. I pull my shirt back up.
"hand me that small towel." I say pointing to the diaper changing table.
He hands it to me and I put it over my shoulder, I lay Mason in my shoulder and lightly pat on his back. Once he burps I rock him back to sleep.
I gently lay him in his crib and grab Lucas' hand and we walk to our room.
We get back into bed and he just lays there holding me.
"I love you, baby" he says and kisses my forehead.
"I love you too. " I say, grabbing his face and kissing him.
After that we go to sleep.
