Blindness

Chapter 1

It was a special day for Thyler Rickson ( the image above is how I imagine him) as he and all of his friend are graduating from high school . It was a day to remember qnd Thyler thinks that nothing can ruin it. Oh how wrong he is. His school graduation ceremony was the same as any other school graduation ceremony . Everything that happened was what people can say as normal.

After the ceremony his mother asked him to followed them as their family want to celebrated his graduation together. Thyler was going to when suddenly his friends askes him to followed them as they were going on a ride with their girlfriend . Thyler was conflicted but at the end he follow his friend and talk to his mother about it. His mother just nodded and tell him to enjoy himself . She also remind him to be carefull as they were many news of people having accident in the vicinity. Thyler just brush it as the rider were unlucky and not carefull enough . Then his friends called for him and said that they will wait for them in front of the school . He kiss his mother goodbye on the cheek and went to his family. Mrs Rickson just looked at his son as he was walking away. She doesn't know why but her instinct just keep telling her to not let him go or she will regret it. But shes just brush it of and went to tell her family about what her son was doing and they should cancel the celebration. What she doesn't know was that her decision will make she regret it for life.

Thyler and his friends just went on a normal motorcycle ride in the city when suddenly everything became downhill.
After he separated with his mother and join his friends to go for the ride, the weather was quite nice . Then while they were still having the best day of their life suddenly it started raining. Thyler tried talking to his friends that they need to go home because of the but they ignored Thyler words and said that its more fun to ride in the rain. Thyler didnt want to follow them so he headed home by saying that his mother wanted him home for dinner to celebrated the graduation as it is also quite late already. His friends just mocked him by saying that he is to spoiled by his mother. Thyler just ignored them and went home. On the way there , as it was raining the road are quite slippery but Thyler ignored the slippery road and bought the motorcycle quite fast. This action of his resulting in his motorcycle to loss control as it was going through the slippery rood and the motorcycle hit a nearby cafe. The broken glasses from the impact between the motorcycle and the cafe glasses window sliced through Thyler eyes and some of it hit him all over his body. Some of the cafe's customers suffered slight injury while others were not injured . The accident was reported to the police and ambulance and police were dispatched. By the end of the day all of Thyler family members , friends and contacts know about the accident and Thyler permanent blindness.

After the accident all of Thyler so called friends started to distanced themselves from Thyler. When they were asked for the reason, some just said that they were trying overcome of the shocked that their friend has become permanent blind while others just said " We cant be friend with someone who has a disability . Its will ruined our image." . Then Thyler who were once a popular , now just a lonely blind guy. While Thyler were still unconscious there were no one . Not even his 'best friend ' came to visit him . Except this girl. She has brown eyes and brown hair.

Shes the only one other than his family member that would come to visit Thyler while he was unconscious at the hospital . But the girl told Thyler's mother to keep her visit a secret from him. After Thyler woke up , the girl never come again to visit him.

Its been a few weeks since the accident and Thyler regain his consciousness. It was quite hard for him to adjust to his new way of live. At first he was devastated with his condition but after that he was gratefull because with him being blind not only it teach him to be grateful with whatever things that he had it also make it easier for him to know who is really his friends and who is wasn't . And its looks liked all the 'friends' that he used to have were no more than just people pretending to be his friends because he was perfect but with his new disability they left him. Because of this he was grateful with it. Although now he doesn't have friends at all he still have his family with him.

His family was with him through everything and even help him when he was trying to adjust with his new life. His mother always help him eating while his father will help him bath and all. Now he spend most of his day at home . But sometimes Thyler will go out and walked to the park near his house . He will have a walk there and just enjoying himself . He will also tried to sharpened his hearing sense and his other sense as he lost his seeing ability . He know that one day he will have to leave his house and try to live by himself . He know that he cant always be a burden to his parents . So from time to time he will go to places near his home to try and enhanced his other sense. It was quite working his sense has became more sharpe than before .

But on that day. the day that will change his life. The day that he will never forget for the rest of his life. On that day, Thyler wanted to try something new. He wanted to go a little bit farther than before as he was getting used to the places near his house. He was trying to crossed the road to get to the library on the other side as to what his gps were telling him. Suddenly he heard a voice.
"Watch out!!". The voice sound like the voice of a women. As he was hearing the voice there was also a force that was pulling him .
