13| All Yours Forever

Next was my father who did not say anything much initially but the moment he came towards me and hugged me tightly, I felt his tears dropping on my clothes instantly, making my eyes widen up in surprise as my father was not really a person to express his emotions much often but that made me even more emotional and I hugged him back even more tightly, with both of our eyes shedding tears.

"Meri gudiya waapas aa hi gayi mere paas. Tujhe pata hai, mujhe roz teri kitni yaad aati thi? Main zyada nahi emotions dikhata nahi par aaj rok nahi paa raha ke main tujhe itne saalo ke baad dekhke kutna khush hoon aur tujhpe kitna garv mehsoos karta hoon, meri pyaari pari❤🥺" My father said to me patting my forehead gently and pulling my cheeks which was his favourite thing to do right from my birth💗😆

Third person was my sister, my chutki Sneha who was surely not a 'chutki' anymore as she had grown to be a beautiful, well-mannered girl in her teenage years.

On coming near me, she could not control her tears anymore which she had been holding all this while along with my mother and hugged me tightly, clearly indicating how much she longed for me and does not want me to leave her yet again for such a long duration.

My heart was melting so much after hugging all my lovely family members but the hug which I received from Sneha was something else. Something more warm, more loved, more secured and more comfortable. I wrapped her up in my arms hugging her back tightly and letting my teardrops fall on her shoulders.

"Meri pyaari di, aap finally itne dino baad laut aaye hi. Maine aapko har ek din kitna miss kiya, pata hai? Ab ki baar main aapko kahi nahi jaane dungi aur aapko mere saath hi rehna hoga❤😩"

"Zaroor meri 'chutki.' Tere alawa aur mummy-papa ke alawa main kahan hi rahungi aur rahungi bhi waise? Woh kisi janam mein bhi munkin nahi hai aur tu tension naa le, meri naukri permanently ab India mein hi lag gayi hai."

"Sacchi beta?" My parents asked with their eyes widened up in surprise and utter happiness which was being visible through their eyes.

"Haa mummy aur papa☺"

My parents did not say anything else and wrapped me in their warm embrace once again, hugging me tightly but a bit gentle this time along with my sister and we 4 continued hugging each other for quite a long time until I realized something important. Something came up in my mind and thoughts all of a sudden.

All this while, where was 'he'? My Nish. Why did he not visit me? Did he forget that I was coming back today? Or does he not just remember me?

"Mummy, papa, chutki, Nischay kahan hai? Woh mujhse milne kyun nahi aaya?" I asked with tears in my eyes remembering him.

Instead of telling me about him, they looked at each other and smiled at me.

"Kya hua? Aap log mujhe dekhke hass kyun rahe ho? Mere muh pe kuch laga hai kya?"
