"Aaliyah you ready?" My momma asked with an attitude after waiting on me for a long time "you know im on crutches Georgia, but im ready." I answered "alright Ari finna help you down the stairs" she said. Ari helped me down the stairs and we got in the car to drive down the street to our neighborhood park for this block party.
"oh my god...all these people" I whispered "I mean it is a block party..." Ari somehow heard me "girl gtf" I rolled my eyes "aye watch yo mouth" my momma fiancée/husband whatever he is yelled "why you yellin though" I squinted my eyes "yall enough, Ari help yo sister out the car" my mom said.
When we got closer to where everybody was Ari ran off to play wit some neighborhood friends. "oh shii" I heard somebody behind me say "Melo." I turned around and laughed "what happened" he questioned "dislocated my knee at my last game of da year" I answered "damn" he shook his head "just shake back" he added on "ima do dat anyway" I smirked "ight ian doubtin you" he put his hands up "mhm" I mumbled " "look at yall" Lavar came up dappin Romelo up "Aaliyah wtf happened" kendoll said as she hugged me "dislocated my knee" I said "omg....my sister a trauma counselor, you want me to tell her about you?" She asked "yesss" I answered "alright, I'll tell you what she says" she said then smiled.
"what y'all doin" Nelson walked up "chillin" romelo said "you graduatin this year, how you feel?" Lavar questioned "good ash" Nelson answered "what yall gon get me?" He added on "can't tell you all dat" Lavar said "danggg" Nelson said "AALIYAH!" I heard my mom yell "ima be right back" I rolled my eyes "you need help gettin up" Lavar joked "sybau" I mushed his face and got up ON MY OWN.
"ma-" I got cut off by looking at Dalia and her mama holding get well balloons but Dalia looked irritated and like she didn't wanna be here. "hey Aaliyah" her mom said to me "hey..." I waved "take Dalia with you, and maybe yall can rekindle yall friendship" my mom said which made me mean mug. She ended up making me keep it cordial with Dalia for right now, "yo Dalia" only Nelson said "hey nels" she waved and I side eyed "where cam" my eyebrow raised "he went to go get sum to eat" romelo said "his fatass" I shook my head "fr as soon as we pulled up he ran to eat" Lavar laughed and the rest of us did the same, "yall wanna 2v2? Aaliyah can ref" romelo said as he got up "fasho" Lavar agreed "of course I gotta ref" I slapped my hand on my face "I mean you can't play..." Nelson said under his breath while scratching his head "nelson stfu" I laughed "ight let's go" Lavar stood up.
"okay I want a nice and clean game, take it easy onna trash talkin cause we don't need allat fightin on dis court." I pledged "check up" romelo passed the ball to nelson and nelson passed it back. As they where playing it made me smile, cause we haven't really had this type of bond with each other in a while since we all went our separate ways.
Nelson & Dalia ended up winnin the game against Romelo & Lavar. "We ball better" Dalia taunted them "cap, yall niggas could neva compare" romelo taunted back "but we won though" nelson chuckled "aye didn't I say take it easy onna trash talk" I said "our bad." Romelo nodded his head "yeah, OUR BAD" nelson laughed "yo yall needa come eat, dis food good ash" cam came over wit a huge plate of food making us run to where they where serving it.
"move by" I pushed Lavar "you see im tryna get me some chicken back up" he put his finger in my face "don't put yo dusty fingers in my face" I side eyed him "both of yall....just big" Dalia joked and we all laughed "Ooo lemme get one" romelo reached over to get a juice, after we all made our way to a picnic table.
Being around Dalia again wasn't to bad. I really didn't feel any bad energy, but trust me I still wouldn't be friends wit dat bitch ever again...just cordial associates. "Aaliyah ain't dat yo sister over there?" Cam asked "yeah..ima be right back" I answered then got up.
"Alease watchu doin wit him?" I ( crutched ) up to her "yk this my babydaddy, I have no choice but to be around him" she said "no girl, you just choose to be around dis nigga" I raised my voice "and nigga listen. If you ever hurt my sister again ima kill yo ass" I added on "Liyah you know it's not like dat" he grabbed my arm "Jay don't touch me we not coo like dat" I rolled my eyes "Aaliyah I promise...im good girl" Alease said and rubbed her fingers throw my hair "im just tryna make sure, i love you so much" I smiled "love you more" she smiled back and I crutched away.

"I had fun wit yall today" Dalia chuckled "type type" Lavar shook his head "yall tryna hit da cade tomorrow?" Romelo asked all of us "fasho" we all answered "aaliyah we finna go" Ari ran up to us "alright, see yall tomorrowwww" I waved.
